Following the pictures and comments on aliexpress, the shock included is a plain deluxe, not a NUDE version; and the weight is way higher than the 2500g stated.
The aestetics are amazing though!

Actually I came quite close to those values, must have been lucky!

Still compared to many other bikes it is very low, at sag already under 100% in most gears. Other bikes like canyon torque, Rocky Mountain slayer, Kavenz vhp, commencal meta and similar have much higher values.

I would say anti-rise is high, maybe not significantly but still much higher then earlier mentioned bikes.

This is still only a single-pivot, even if it is linkage driven. Maybe could have had main pivot more forward like orange bikes to get higher anti-squat.

Still an interesting option even if price is same or higher then big brand aluminium frame.

Could you please tell me which big brands offer alu frames at this price? i have a friend looking for something like this and all he finds is considerably higher cost :(

This is just an old school way of hose routing. Ten years ago it was quite popular, but of course internal routing is better. Even better is hose routing on Manitou forks  ;)

Not true, this is not old school unless you mean couple weeks old is old school, and quite popular mean 3 people assembling bikes for what looks like the first time ever.

ugh, I dislike Sherpa. They are a bit predatory. A while back when they had a lot frames, they said they were looking for Ambassadors. Anyone who applied was accepted and offered the the Sherpa Massif (Carbonda FM1001) or Sherpa Everest (ICAN P9) for a "huge discount". Of course it was actually still a big mark up on the Frames. They also lie about the P9's geo. They say its 65 Degree head angle (since they are overforking), but keep the 74 degree seat angle and other measurements the same. Lazy at best, intentionally dishonest at worst.

I like this guy's video though, it is basically a FM1001 review.

There is no review there. There a POV video riding and the guy just saying this bike is nimble sweet so good. No comments on behaviour, geometry, finishes..... Just one more guy with a new bike.

Would that be the said FM-822? Any more information on the frame, Geometry, availability?

The picture and the thread is about the 829.

The 822 has its own thread:

@Danzer in which point do you have your rebound set? In the middel of the range, or very close to the limit?
I am also a heavy rider, even heavier than you, and i run high pressure in my shocks and high rebound and i find the rebound inconsistent. I believe it is just because we run the higher spectrum of the rider’s weight and we would benefit from custom tuned shocks, so we are not in the limit of the hydraulic range.

Hi all! Has anyone had issues with this frame's bottom bracket? Everyone says avoid BSA BBs as they may detach from the frame...

That sound really like the people that say don't buy chinese frames as they will break the moment you get on it.....

Dirtlabs frame, which is the american distributor for https://bikelab-inc.com/ .
I like it and they offer 3 versions with 3 different travels, i guess changing the small lower shock support to adjust for different sized shocks keeping the geometry (only available from the american ones, not the dutch).

The rear triangle is carbon, the flex is because if this - anything you buy from china that is carbon will have a carbon triangle.
uh.........no. Aluminum rear triangles also flex.

I have  a P9, i've done many trails and some bike park.
I was only limited by my tyre choice (thin sidewalls, punctured badly).
The frame is solid. I'm 105kg.
