Salsa had a demo day at my local trails sat, got to ride there Titanium 29er. I yet to have the chance to ride a carbon but I can tell you it was night and day between my steel Jamis. Lol

Component Deals & Selection / Carbon Fork

Anyone know the durability of the carbon forks? I understand there as strong or stronger then steel, but how do they hold up over time and hard trails with jumps and drops.

Don't trust people on the ground, can't stand the thought of people texting and flying. Lol

Hey everyone I could really use some help on selecting a replacment frame for my Jamis. The bike is a 2012 Jamis Dragon with all stock components other then a carbon fsa crank and fsa headset. I do have a spare black flag expert wheelset(been told better then the wtb set.

My question is what would be the best replacement frame? I'm looking at buying through flyxii. I never built a bike before so all the help and info would be very appreciated.

Wanted to say hi after singing up, my name is Dustin and live in Tx.

I'm still very new to mountain biking, as of right now I have a 2012 Jamis Dragon 29 sport(heavy steel bike). Looking to find a carbon frame to swap everything over from the Dragon.

Have a ton to learn as I have never built a bike before but very mechanically skilled as I have been building cars and trucks for many years so I hope I can learn fast.
