That may be at this time....but mormally, you don't touch Formula R1 for less than $300.00 US or R1 racing for less than $400.00
This looks like they are clearing out the 2014 model....which wasn't great...Formula is difficult to work with but stupid light.

Going to be hard to keep it to 1000 as you are in for 700 between frame and fork....brakes 150ish...crank 150+ and you are at a 1000
are you willing to use used parts and do you have any from a current bike?

Good price on the Reba.

One thing I noticed, because I figured I would need to do it myself, if I went with this frame is the long neck.
The 19" frame was 15mm shorter than my 19" 057 for TT length

Glad you brought them to our attention as they have a different full suspension not seen with chiners so far(at least I hadn't)
http://www.workswellbikes.com/web/view/48.html
I have been waiting to see if someone would come out with a full suspension with the shock located vertically(don't know the style)

Not where I expected but still works.  One side can be stationary as long as the other moves.
I am looking at your picture and the linkage is like a crank arm...the bearing you show is the bottom bracket.

I think it will be ok.
Reason, the linkage piece does the moving and it has the bearing...the other side, inside is part of the rear triange and it just moves linearly with give from the shock.  Meaning it can be fixed as long as the part that moves, the linkage has some type of bearing.

Digi,
So, I actually had my wheels built with Sapim Lasers
I found the reference about not with disc brakes:  http://www.sapim.be/sites/default/files/checklist.pdf
I am checking with my wheel builder as my spokes and hubs came from BHS.
I haven't had any issues, I weigh 165lbs.
Edit: got a response from my wheel builder:
I've built several sets (your included) with Lasers on disc brake hubs with no problem for lighter weight riders. In these cases 32 spokes with 3 crossings allow the use of the Laser spoke to make a sufficiently stiff wheel. For heavier riders on other than XC applications or low spoke count wheels the Laser is not a suitable choice.

I don't anticipate you having any trouble with the wheels but if you do start breaking spokes just let me know and I can relace them with heavier spokes.

Turbo - this is what it looks like you need/talking about:
http://www.torontocycles.com/images/kcnc_housing_ends_black.jpg
These are the ones I used...I just assumed they were needed, they let the cable seat better in the frame and they finish the cable nicely
The frame seems to be built for them as the hole is sized for them vs. bare cable which is 'loose/wobbly'
I looked at a bike store - they had plastic ones...I wanted metal.

To look at them head to head BHS vs. DT350
generally on same level -
dt350 cost roughly twice as much
lower poe for dt350 - does it matter, to some yes, but look at us, we are buying/building bikes that are way overkill for what most are riding.
bearings probably on same quality level
sound
name brand vs. no name
BHS hubs are convertible - dt350 are dedicated from what I found.

If I were to do it again, I would get a bhs rear hub and some light/lighter weight front hub - cost coming up to a pair of dt350s

After The Ride / bottom bracket extreme

Was on MOTR and looked at the review of the Ghost Riot bike...
For being carbon, it is a little heavy and expensive.
http://reviews.mtbr.com/review-ghost-riot-7-lc-trail-bike
The intereting part was the bottom bracket area.
Here is a picture of the BB I pulled from the article.
I would like to see a chiner with that general rear suspension style.

dt 350 18poe vs 54poe BHS
You can upgrade the DT to 36 POE or 54 POE for an upcharge.
Also, not confirmed, but if you are a clyde, there has been speculation that the teeth are too small to support larger users...in reference to 36 or 54

So ceramic bearings with seals didn't work in the BB carbonazza?
Obviously, you avoid rust bust cost can be excessive.
I have seen full ceramics, w/o seals, for decent price.  Gotta believe that even with a lot of grease, water and grit and such will take their toll...eventually removing most grease.
