Sales & Classifieds / SRAM Rival 1x11 and 2x11 Groupsets
« on: July 17, 2023, 08:22:02 AM »
Looking to finish your gravel/road build on a budget, I got you!

Ran this on my gravel bike and works as it should.

Sram Rival 1x Shifters.
Sram Rival Long Cage derailleur.
Shimano 11-46 Cassette.
Sram Rival flat mount calipers (brand new)

-$350 + shipping

----

How SRAM should have built this back in the day. Using the 10 speed MTB Rear derailluer with a clutch is a game changer. Used mostly on the road but ventured into some gravel at times as you can see from the rock chips in the crankset.

-Rival 2x11 Shifters
-SRAM Rival Flat Mount Brakes
-SRAM Force 22 Front derailleur with Chain Catcher
-SRAM GX Type 2.1 Medium Cage derailleur (with clutch), has barrel adjuster included
-Shimano 11-32 Cassette
-SRAM Force 22 50/34 Crankset 175mm GXP

-$400 + shipping

If the crankset doesn't work I can all of this for $350.

Howdy friends, looking for something similar to the Enve carbon aero bar. I want a slight flare and want it to be pretty narrow up top, looking at the 37cm up top.

Any suggestions? I’ve scoured Ali express but nothing seems to fit the bill as much as I’d like.

Bought this for my 177, didn't end up using the stem, but did use the bar. Both were perfect. I can take photos if you're interested.

testing the waters here before I try and move on to another frame. Was really hoping this would fit 32mm wide tires, but it doesn't (max I've gotten comfortably was 29.5mm) so I'm seeing whats realistic to ask for this.

I figured out all the quirks so the next user doesn't have to. No headset play, seatpost is shimmed, etc. It has a couple of nicks/scuffs on it, but it only have 305 miles on it. I was thinking $500 plus shipping would be a deal. I have about $800 into it as it sits. I'm located in Charlotte, NC and will ship at your cost. I attached a photo of how it currently sits, all built up.

177 Large frame - Metallic Blue custom Paint
Straight Seatpost with soda can shim
Velobuild 120mm stem (never used)
400mm bar
FSA ACR 140mm Stem
FSA No. 55R 1.5” ACR headset
Wheels Mfg BB86 GXP bottom bracket.

Just got this in the mail today to put together for my wife. At 4’11, it was hard to find something, frame only and on a budget, that would work. The frame took 55 days from order to the door in USA. Not bad

Packed well, organized, looks solid to me.

The only concern I currently have is the fork area, where the bearing sits on the fork. It doesn’t slide all the way down. I have another frame with the same type headset and wanted to make sure it wasn’t the bearing, or it needed a race, but it doesn’t sit flush like it should.

Has anyone else run into this when building a frame/fork? Looking at another fork I have, it’s a lot smoother and flat in that area for the bearing to sit.

I'm trying to decide on one of these frames, but I can't see the huge difference in them compared to my current bike.

What is each of these frames a clone of? I think the 177 is the SL7? Is the 168 it's own frame?

If you were in my boat, which way did you lean?

Hello, looking to move on from my Van Dessel Motivus Maximus at some point and was starting to do research. Currently use this for most of my training, some light gravel riding. I still want it to be quick and snappy.

Here’s what I’m looking for:

Road racing geometry, nothing endurance related
Flat mount disc
Standard seat post/stems, nothing proprietary (currently run a 56 with a 140mm stem and 42cm bars, 58s are usually too big, my fit is kind of weird I guess?)
Clear up to 32s, 30 at a minimum

What’s the frame I should be looking for.

Cyclocross Frames, Wheels & Components / 15MM Thru Axle for GRA700?
« on: February 12, 2021, 05:30:45 PM »
Does anyone know where I could source a thru axle for my DIYCarbonBikes GRA700 frame? It’s 15MM thru axle in the front. My bike was shipped with two rear axles, curious if there’s a better solution in the US that i can get this thing up and running quickly!

14
This is very tempting to me, has anyone built one? I've seen some threads on ridinggravel.com, but nothing here. Any experiences?

I bought a Superteam 12x142 rear wheel second hand and I am missing one of the endcaps. I've searched everywhere for this. Can anyone point me in the right direction on sourcing these?

Thank you!
