29er / Winowsports WL-MF05/WS-MF05?
« on: October 03, 2021, 09:50:38 AM »

Does anyone here have this particular frame and could provide some additional information and pictures? I'm really interested in buying this frame, but I need to check some details before I commit, specifically the real weight and the saddle clamp, among others..

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

Road Bike Frames, Wheels & Components / front derailleur mount cover
« on: December 14, 2019, 11:57:50 AM »
hi there,

I just recently bought the R12 road bike frame from honsenbikes.com with the intention of building a lightweight gravel bike, therefore I'm using a 1x setup and do not need the front derailleur hanger. leaving the mount on the frame is out of the question (EXCESSIVE extra weight;]) so I screwed it off, which has left me with two unsightly craters aka screw holes in the frame...now my question: are there any covers I could purchase to cover those up, like this https://www.cannondaleexperts.com/Cannondale-2018-Synapse-Carbon-Front-Derailleur-Mount-1X-Cover-CK3578U00OS_p_8016.html maybe? or has anyone ever made one themself and can give me some hints? any help is greatly appreciated!

29er / hardtail frame for 38t
« on: February 13, 2018, 12:51:51 PM »
hi there, this is my first post, so please be gentle...I'm very frustrated with my first build, so I came here looking for help:

I recently bought my first chinese carbon frame to build a hardtail mtb. I chose FM-M009, I reckon many of you already know said frame. after the frame I bought a whole load of other parts, including just recently the xx1 eagle groupset with a 38t chainring. I had big trouble fixing the crank with this large chainring and only managed to with the help of a large spacer, which in turn totally f***ed up the chainline.

from what i can tell this frame won't even fit a 36t one, and since I mainly do long tours and not so much hillclimbing or downhill, I really want to use the 38t chainring.

so, to make it short, can you guys recommend a lightweight carbon frame I can fit a 38t chainring on?

thanks in advance! sorry if this topic already exists, I searched, but didn't really find anything...
