Sales & Classifieds / Unbelievable deal!
« on: January 29, 2016, 09:08:32 AM »
I have a IP-036 full suspension 29er carbon frame 18" in mint condition.  It has the thru axle 142x12 thru axle dropouts AND the 135x9 quick release dropouts.  Ridden only a handful of times and is perfect.  Frame includes fox CTD rear shock that works perfectly with this frame.  The frame was custom painted by Peter and it is half 3k weave and half green paint....gorgeous.  I am also selling with the frame and shock. A like new again,  a handful of times ridden Rock shox Reba 29 fork with remote lockout also in the green color.  Now also to go with all of this I have a perfect pair of Light Bicycle carbon 29er wheels.  Rims are 35mm wide laced to Sapim X Ray spokes with the Novatec 4 in 1 sealed bearing hubs. professionally built and tensioned   They are currently set up with thru axles to go with the frame and fork.
All told I have over $2500invested in this set up.  I will let go for the dirt low price of $1250 to the first person that hollers. Half price!  And that includes professional packaging, shipping and insurance to your door!  I am selling because I have gone to a fat bike.
Thanks for looking,
Andy.

29er / Anybody put a G2 fork on a Chiner?
« on: January 10, 2015, 10:53:10 PM »
With the 51mm offset instead of the standard 46mm they say the 29 handles quicker like a 26.  Any thoughts on doing this to improve handling?
Thanks,
Andy

« on: January 07, 2015, 05:53:56 PM »
Well, got my tires in for my 30mm carbon rims and ready to set them up tubeless.  Wondering what brand, size tubeless rim tape y'all are using on your rims?  Anyone had any luck with just using gorilla tape.   Thanks,
Andy

Every time I head to this site the same song pops in my head...."Funky Town.". Except I change the words and sing(in my head),  "won't you take me to Chinertown?  Won't  you take me to Chi....High....Ner....town?!!!!".  Weird huh?

29er / Needle bearing info
« on: July 16, 2014, 07:52:35 PM »
CD had asked about the shock eyelet needle bearing kit I used for the rear shock on my IP-036.

They came from BTI in New Mexico(any bike shop can order them).  They are item #AB-9901.

These let your shock pivots rotate on bearings instead of bushings....super smooth.

By the way spent the last few days on the Ip-036 and could not be happier.  This bike feels just perfect.  Super smooth, super light.  Climbs amazing.  Corners perfectly.  BB height is just right.  Super comfortable.  Extremely nice looking. I am just thrilled with everything about this bike!

29er / Got my IP 036 built!
« on: July 09, 2014, 09:05:59 PM »
Got home from vacation yesterday and built it up.  Went for 10 mile ride last night and another one this morning.  I am blown away by how well it handles, how light it is and how pretty the custom green paint with 3k gloss finish is.

Peter was a complete professional to deal with.  The bike went together real fast and easy and no problems whatsoever with anything.

Rides as well as my buddies 8 thousand dollar  Niner rdo Jet for a fraction of the cost.

If I can ever figure out how to post a pic I'll do that along with a build list.  Until then I HIGHLY recommend the IP 036 and Peter at XMIplay.
Thanks for reading,
Andy. :)

Hi Guys,

Has anyone heard of this new vehicle?  84mpg and it is projected to cost $6800 and only require motorcycle insurance.  Supposed to be in production Sept 2015.

Looks very interesting!

P.S.  Received my 2 XMIplay frames the other day but I'm on vacation and won't build for a couple weeks.

« on: April 25, 2014, 09:27:37 AM »
A little off topic but I gotta know.  CD why do you have a pic of a little yellow Tabby kitty cat in your posts?

I have a little yellow Tabby that I just adore.  His name is "Squirty" and he is my little shadow....I just love him.
Thanks CD.
Andy. :)
