Thanks for the link. This is probably the way i will go too.

Was looking at some salsa frame/fork pricing and its pretty insane.
Didnt think a rigid frame would cost as much or more thenn
a full suspension frame with shock.

 Chinese it is then.

Looking st the Kona and Evil gravel bikes.

I know it will be years before the Chinese have something like those.
But what would be the closest. I want something that rides and handles closer to my mtb.
Where i live is basically a gravel Mecca and home to the land run 100. And i want to take advantage and my mtb is about as trick as i can get it. So i need a new bike to spend money on.
Also looking to run a carbon dropper post.

I can confirm that light carbon frames are extremely well paked.
Mine was 100 percent covered and it takes a while to get it all off.

I have a 165x45 fox performance for sale $85. It was my back up shock just selling because I need a couple bucks more for my Hero fork.

I don't know how hard it would be to put a travel spacer in to change it to 42.5 stroke.

Also will have a 95% new Hans Dampf 2 29x2.3 addix soft for $35 shipped.

It's usually $50-100 for one color.
You can also get it gloss clear for free and add some frame protection kit that looks cool also.

 Something from allmountainprotection of dyedbro.com

Strange that it says it's a 130mm frame. Right between the Tallboy and Hightower?

It says 130 in one place and 150 in another. I'm betting on 150.

Pretty much any auto paint shop will do it. And do it better.

Was only a matter of time that the chinese caught up on geo.vpp patent expired I was actually wondering what was taking them so long to show a vpp bike.

That Front end looks like a 3D print or some resin cast. The white inside the BB gives it away.

The rear end might be carbon. Maybe still in development?

My gut feel is Santacruz will shut this down very quickly.

They have no means to shut it down. Vpp patent is over. You can't patent Geo so what exactly will they go after them for?

Finally it's done.

More or less took all parts from my 2019 Scott Scale 930 and put it on this frame.
Fox Float rear shock with 3-pos lockout.

11.4 kg with heavy wheels and "only" NX groupset.

Probably quite easy to get sub 10kg.

Saarela - is that gloss black paint or just gloss carbon finish?

Gloss black, not sure if you can get gloss carbon

You can get clear gloss which is what he is referring to.

Not worse then any other bike I would say. The shock is mostly protected from it  by the linkage.

Does anyone received new version of frame (LCFS958)? It is now stiff in previously cracked area, or it will be better to find another frame options? How is it going by now?

Yes I have the 958 in large. I have complete confidence in the frame. By the way mine weighed 2450grams in size large.

Also I am finding with this suspension less pressure less volume. Let it sit a bit low and fill the air chamber up . I have the .6 volume reducer plus a bunch of gear grease to shrink the volume. I like the grease method as I can really fine tune it.
Sitting at about 30% sag using this method I can pedal seated thru 1-2" roots all day with comfort and carrying speed no problem.
But still get a nice pump and pop due to the ramp up adjusting rebound to allow this of course.
