What is the travel?
In the text they state Stroke 122mm, then in the list says travel 100mm. Do you have a confirmation?

Jucab, is your dropper cable smooth? I tried when installing mine, but the result was not smooth, so i used the port on the left of the seat tube.

@Sitar-Ned please remove me from the list, I lost interest on this frame.

The Fm1166 is also interesting:

and they also have a china Santa cruz looking frame FM1266 ->

EDIT: Adam told me that they have samples from the Fm1156 for sale, only size M

Did you, by any chance, get a quote for the frame? It's a tempting frame none the less.

I had Rocket Rons and hate them so much in the front wheel, they have so few grip. In the rear they roll easy and have decent grip.

Re the groupset, online websites report the tests of deore and SLX are already excellent, so it could be easy to keep the budget. Same with the brakes, at least shimano, you gain adjustments, but not brake power (or definitely not in the same % as the price increase)

I would look for a 6mm boost kit (like this one https://problemsolversbike.com/products/brakes/booster_-_k5144) and redish the wheel. This will make your transmission work properly again and only your disc is spaced 6mm.

#metoo
Openmold manufacturers and designs are updating themselves and there are several fashionable xc and enduro rigs. Now we miss this new category, that not so far ago was a trail bike. Now a trail bike has the same travel and more slack angles than a 2012 enduro beast :(

That trifox would look much much but very much better without 8cm of spacers on the fork’s steerer tube.

You can get a Deore 12v for almost half the price of that GX, or, or an XT-11v or slx 12v for those 400usd.
DT swiss e1900 are easy to get in europe for around 200, and are solid and reliable.

Well, i wouldn't consider a double crown fork neither, and even less weighting 3.2kg on a 150mm travel bike. Again, not saying they are bad. You still have more options according to where you live that dont break the bank. Though, if you have the legs, be welcome to try that dc fork.
I am also a heavy rider, I was riding a 32mm reba qr just before the ican, and I just prefer the stiffer fork that newer design offer.

The fork is questionable to say the least. I would trade a carbon wheels expense and put the money in the fork.

I paid 280eur for my suntour triair shock, I feel it is not outrageous and has been proven in enduro races worldwide.
I did not find a 210x55 air shock in aliexpress though.
The himalo fork, it's ok if you want to neglect 10years of suspension developmment, given that it has 32mm stanchions and qr dropouts. Is it bad per se? No, not saying that! But there are tons of other options to go with the P9, that will help the rider fully enjoy the capabilities, without breaking the bank.
I find 11spd shimano SLX  a bargain, and shimano 4piston cheapest brakes have tons of power.
