Maybe here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/New-MTB-Mountain-Bike-Cycling-Road-Bicycle-Frame-Gear-Rear-Derailleur-Hanger-Dropout-Frame-Tail-Hook/32511863536.html

Or ask the seller of your frame.

Next time, order a spare one with your frame together. It always breaks on an unpleasant point of time

Component Deals & Selection / Re: Praxis 1x Wave Ring
« on: May 15, 2018, 08:36:00 AM »
I think the narrow/wide is better.
Why?
The narrow/wide is always filling the openings in the chain.
The wave chain ring is always filling the smallest opening full, but the big opening half (always on one side).

That's what I think. Don't know if it's true. No experience.

About the saddle: I had two of this saddle, used by my son (8yr) and myself, both snapped at the same point after a while. It's comfortable, light, but not durable. I'm avoiding this one. See: http://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,184.msg2835.html#msg2835
About the clamp: I'm using this as well, but recently one broke into pieces after two year of use. So, for this one, buy a spare one.

I was able to use the head set without the spacers given, however, I did use others that I had laying around.  Once the bike is complete, I will post some pictures.  Thanks for the assistance.  Without this forum, it would not have been possible.
Don't hijack this topic with your build. I created a new topic for you: http://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,1469.0.html

Last week I received a couple of rims from Peter (XMCarbonSpeed). He sent the rims by JY Express to the Netherlands to avoid custom taxes. And really, it works, no custom taxes this time. That saved me approximately 50 euro.
How much the shipping cost using JY Express?
95USD

here is something efficient you can do : http://www.light-bikes.fr/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=928&start=50#p26274
That's a really cool trick ... for new builds or when you're replacing your cables. I'll do this on a new build for sure.

Awesome build bro. Really nice.

About the rattle: push one or two kitchen sponges into your frame where the cables make noise. Before doing so don't forget to attach a cord to the sponges. So you can easy pull them back. Light weight solution.

The BB which in the package is a (Shimano) BSA BB. The axle of this crank is 24mm, which is the same as the shimano Hollowtec II. The chainring is a GXP (XX1 X9 whatever) type, which fits this crank, but also SRAM GXP cranks.
It wasn't also clear to me, so I asked the seller.

But if you look closer to the BB's on the AliExpress page, you can see it's BSA.

Please look at the attached image.

I’ve seen that same setup on eBay. I assumed it wasn’t compatible with the 73mm BSA socket on the frame I purchased.
Yes, it's compatible. I put it on a frame with 68mm BSA BB. Had to place two spacers and I didn't install the tube between the two cups, because the BB is closed and it save a little bit of weight  ;)

You need 170mm crankarm ?

Recently I bought this crank from AliExpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/SNAIL-Bike-Bicycle-Suit-Sets-Crankset-crank-Chainwheel-30T-32T-34T-7075-CNC-Narrow-Wide-Chainring/32837261586.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.hVhDWe

It's a really light crankset, 756gr total (BB, crank, chainring). 649gr for crank with chainring.

I merged part of this topic into the already existing topic about chain waxing. A very interesting topic. You can find it here: http://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,1389.0.html

Just started to look for them. Checked ebay but no find. My frame is a $199.00 Tropix off ebay.  The covers that are on there now have a single screw holding them in.
Why? With this Parktool IR-1 it's easy enough.

Mady my own by two old brake cables, some small magnets, glue it on the brake cable, and a bigger magnet to guide it through the frame.

Interesting! How do you wax ? DIY wax with a rice cooker ?
