Few things say "my frame is fake" louder than riding a Factor with Elite wheels with the logos :)

sounds interesting, can you say something about sizing, what did you get?

Sizing is lean. I picked up a medium, and it's very fitted. If you want loose, I'd get a size bigger.

There's also a pocketed version that's slightly more expensive:

here are my bibs so far

Cheji bibs with the red chamois pad - 5/5
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005008628157484.html?spm=a2g0o.order_detail.order_detail_item.5.23f6f19cUEETeU
These are by far the best bibs I've purchased from AliExpress! The quality is excellent, and the fit is perfect (size L for me at 75kg). The red chamois pad offers outstanding comfort for both short and long rides. It’s so good that I bought a second pair when they became available again.
I’ll only buy Cheji bibs from now on, and I even suggested they consider offering cargo bibs. They said they’ll let me know when they do.

Hiserwa bib with EI pad - 3/5
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006472162753.html?spm=a2g0o.order_detail.order_detail_item.3.4405f19cALi5pc
I initially received the wrong bib, but Hiserwa quickly corrected the mistake by letting me keep the wrong item and sending the correct one. The fit is good (size L for 75kg), but the compression makes me feel like a hotdog in the tights.
The EI pad seems decent, offering adequate cushioning, though it feels abrasive without chamois cream. Also, the leg length is a bit long for my preference. For the price, it’s still a solid option, but I’d rather spend a little more on the Cheji bibs.

Interestingly, the "wrong" bib they sent me turned out to be surprisingly good. The pad isn't EI, but it's comfortable and offers good support, and the fit is excellent. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find this exact bib on AliExpress, but it seems similar to this one, but without the cargo pockets.

Thinkrider with grey bibs and cargo side pockets - 3/5
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005377374398.html?spm=a2g0o.order_detail.order_detail_item.3.19fbf19cpVzLBr
These bibs are affordable and still offer good quality. The sizing is on the smaller side, but they fit me OK (consider sizing up if you don’t want them to feel like compression tights). The cargo pockets are functional and fit my Pixel 8 Pro comfortably.
The main downside is the pad, which is fine for shorter rides but not ideal for longer ones. It feels abrasive without chamois cream, so I recommend reapplying it for longer rides.

ZRSE with green dolomiti pad - 3.5/5
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006735510853.html?spm=a2g0o.order_detail.order_detail_item.3.3e85f19ceows1J
The fit is great and true to size, and I love wearing these for short rides. The green Dolomiti pad is marketed for 6-hour rides, but I couldn’t even last 2 hours with it. The pad’s design is similar to my Assos bibs (which have a pink pad) but doesn’t offer the same level of comfort. Despite applying chamois cream, the perforated design of the pad makes it less durable, and the cream doesn’t last long.

Thank you Everyone for all valuable insights. This forum is magic.

Could we then just sum up that UDH hanger will work 100% fine with LTWOO R9 Disc 2x11 ?

Road Bike Frames, Wheels & Components / Re: Speeder Cycling SC-R55D

I only did a quick ride around the block with it, but it feels damn good. Can't wait to do a real ride with it.

Speeder did the paint job.

I also ordered it. How long did it take to receive it ?

1st post but joined this forum looking for a more 'budget friendly' frame that I won't see on my regular club rides and will be suitable for cruising around the Chilterns in the UK.

After the feedback on here decided to get this frame.

My frame apparently departed 3 days ago, so should be in my hands soon, likely next week, with any luck.

Planned build:

R088 size large UD Glossy (liked this look a lot on others builds)

Ultegra R8020 shifters and R8070 brakes
GRX 812 derailleur
CSM8000 Cassette (11-42)
Dura Ace 9100 Crankset
Pass Quest 1x chain ring

Have all of the groupset parts together now.

for wheels I am thinking of these:

https://www.xmcarbonspeed.cc/products/t1100-carbon-spokes-700c-tubeless-26mm-internal-wide-disc-brake-road-gravel-bike-carbon-wheelsets-with-20-20h-straight-through-version-hubs

Need payday to arrive before I bite the bullet on them.

Finishing kit wise need to see whether I want to run the elita one SL8 bars (which are in customs) or a separate stem/bars like I do on my other bikes.

Hoping once built that this is a fairly lightweight 'all rounder' type ride.

Not seen anyone build this frame with mechanical yet, so hoping that the one extra cable to route through the frame/bars is not too much of a ball ache.

From my experience, avoid DHL and FedEx in order to skip duty taxes. DPD is great for that.

But ask to the seller what he recommands to you.

I think I found an answer on YouTube

Looks like UDH (attachment, printscren from YT movie), correct?

Nope. Google UDH and it looks markedly different.

Is there a video / content that's the authority on all that? The topic is extremely confusing.

SRAM has some videos that address this directly: youtube.com/watch?v=kjgb0pUpn4c for the UDH intro and youtube.com/watch?v=uLPQgMUjPu4 for more on full mount (transmission). But it's not even that complicated* - if you have ANY groupset other than SRAM's latest MTB or RED XPLR, then UDH is just another hanger standard and nothing changes functionally.

*for carbon bikes... custom metal bike makers did a lot of handwringing when UDH came out since it's not so easy to braze/weld in plate dropouts for UDH, but it seems like most have transitioned over. See https://forum.customframeforum.com/t/udh-standard-or-scam/442 for a fun long read.

Thank you for your comment 1st of all-full of interesting insights about this topic.

You mention that you made bank transfer. By going down this path did you confirm with seller that tax & customs will be covered by himself and that he will declare real value on the package ?

I'm trying to use the most optimal method here=avoid paying high transfer fees and be sure that once package will arrive at home I won't be issued to pay extra taxes & customs.

THe only other way besides PayPal is an International Bank Transfer, but that does come with risks and wether it is a reputable seller say LightCarbon or TanTan.
I just made a payment via bank transfer myself. As for tax being included, that’s often misleading. Some sellers use freight shipping methods to try to circumvent customs duties or declare a lower value on the package. However, if customs opens the package and doesn’t believe the declared value (e.g., if you paid $500 but they declare it as $100), they will likely request proof of purchase before releasing it."

Tax Inclusion – Some sellers claim "tax included," but unless they use a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) shipping method, the buyer is usually responsible for taxes.

Customs Declarations – It is common for sellers to declare lower values, but customs authorities can request proof of purchase and may impose fines if they suspect fraud.

I pulled the trigger on the Elita One Master seat post. It came up on Early Bird special for $23 USD and I wanted a °5 degree seat post anyways. I'll report back when I get it and hopefully I don't get shish kebab'ed!  ;D
