cs-496 vs Velobuild
« on: September 22, 2018, 07:24:13 PM »
I was looking at the CS-496 or similar Velobuild frame.  It looks like the Stache bike frame.  Velobuild site says its for tire sizes 27.5x3.0 and 29x3.0, but they just emailed saying its only for 29x2.3.  I havent heard back from Peter at Carbonspeed yet...but considering the dimensions are the same/similar, Im guessing its also maxed out at 29x2.3.  Can anyone confirm?
Im getting ready to pull the trigger on a frame, committed to 27.5x3.0 tires, so the cheaper velobuild frame is the leading candidate.  Just curious if the CS has more size options in case I ever wanted to put bigger tires on.
