M06 vs 036
« on: April 19, 2017, 12:01:17 PM »
Hi! I've been lurking for around 2 years now but posting for the first time. I have a few question about the differences between the new M06 and the good old 036 that I'm currently riding.

I know it is 12x142, but is it the same 12x142 rear axle as the 036?
Do they fit the same tire size?
Can you run cables internaly for both the shock and a dropper post on the M06?
Any comment about the lateral flex of the M06? Specifically on the rear triangle. The 036 could be a bit more stiff.
Is the rear suspension rate more progressive on the M06 compared to the 036?

Thank you!

Yes, the frame accepts the same Shimano e-thru axle.

M06 fits up to 2.3" according to Dengfu. Here's a quote from my thread:

Tire clearance at widest points, without actual tire: top – 81mm, bottom – 75mm.

Yes, frame has inner guides for both dropper and front shock.
