Xmiplay and Major comms Issue re Warrantee

(1/1)

mtbEagle:
Hi Guys,

I bought an IP-057 from Ximplay last March (2016) with seatpost/clamp/stem/hangers etc, and then a set of carbon wheels earlier this year (2017) working with Bella. Everything went well, received all the kit and it was excllent...quick service, great frame etc. About 2 months ago I noticed my bottom bracket making a noise which I didnt think much of but on closer inspection I could see that it had cracked around the housing on the drive side. So about 2.5 months ago I emailed Bella, she said no worries send photos, which I did. After 4 weeks (and 2 emails telling me she is waiting from the factory) she then stopped responding to my numerous emails. Which frustrated me terribly. I had originally wanted to work with Peter who I ready early last year left to setup his own company (or something similar.) So I reached out to Bert who wasnt in and so I was passed to Bella for the initial sale. Well, after not hearing back I reached out to Bert who send send the photos...since then and more emails no response. I am beyond frustrated as Xmiplay is quite responsive when you want to buy something but have now dropped off the end of the earth when I bring up the warrantee word.  Has anyone has similar experiences or any advice.....at this point I have to say unless these folks kindly begin the communicating and help me this has to be the most frustrating buying experience ever...and I buy quite a bit of kit via China. The way this is has gone down I would NOT recommend buying anything from Xmiplay. Maybe when Peter was there the company was on the up and up...but I have serious doubts now that I am trying to make a claim. Buyer Beware of Xmiplay. I know that PayPal has a 180 day claim...does anyone know if I can possibly go that route as this is within the warrantee time limit of 2 years? Thank you in advance for any comments/thoughts/suggestions.

The BB aluminium shell on my kid's bike got loose after a year of use.
A quick look, and it was clear it was beyond repair.

I sent a couple of pictures to Peter, a few emails, and got a new replacement frame a couple of weeks later.

Sadly, that doesn't help you much here in this case.
But just a reminder that Peter is someone you can trust when things go wrong.

mtbEagle:
Thanks for the input.
