I happen to actually like a bit of a thicker grease in pedals, because it is more water resistant and easier to clip in. I have some look carbon pedals and those spin like crazy and i hate it, although i got somewhat used to that, but i will replace the lubricant to something thicker in those soon.

I agree that pedals shouldn't spin too easily for ease for clipping in, and I did exactly what you plan to do with a set of Look Keo pedals I used previously. But these Onirii pedals were waaay too slow. Shimano and Exustar get this right in my experience.

KaiDeus

Okay, i get you.
Chance is, the lubricant in the Onirii pedals isn't even the source for the stickyness. I had pedals with grease, which was as sticky as glue and those were spinning just fine.
That said, i don't own the Onirii pedals, so this is just a guess.

Includes the oval shaped thing to EXTRACT bearings in the BB area. My older version didn't have that and I had to 3d print that oval thing. So, very pleased with that stuff. For 24 EUR it makes you feel like a pro :p
Bearings press for hubs, idk, haven't had the need yet.
Fast on the flat. And nowhere else.

Can you share the link to the unbranded one, if there is a price difference?
I'm currently torn between a fully integrated system and a bar stem combo and this would be my first choice for a separate bar and stem so far.

kbernstein

90 eur for a stem when you can get a cockpit for 105?

Specifically needed/wanted internal routed stem with the front-facing opening, was harder to find than you may think.

It was also cheaper when I bought it, haha.

I didn't know that the threaded adjustable spacer ring thingy on Evosid/Goldix etc cranksets is sold separately. The tiny torx screw on my Evosid crank stripped and I was about to dump it when I found this:

What is the right place/store to buy Kalloy Uno stems? Are the ones on Aliex fake and thus heavier? Couple Uno stems (black color, 6061) I have are 127 grams and 132 grams each in 100mm variety while a chrome version is 135 grams, again in 100mm. I can see many varieties of rigid stems on Kalloy website.

The chart here suggests under 100 grams for 100mm stem which is much lighter than any I found on Aliex -

https://www.fairwheelbikes.com/fair-wheel-kalloy-uno-stealth-stem.html?id=56770247&quantity=1

The lightest variety I found on Aliex (AL7050) is here - https://www.aliexpress.us/item/2251832805662022.html
but its still a few grams heavier than the one linked above.

My search, regardless of what I put in shows pretty much same results every time. May be the lightest Uno stems are buried somewhere in the vastness of Aliex but I can't find it?

Edit, a close copy of stealth (no logo version, AL 7050) seems to be this - https://www.aliexpress.us/item/2251832083612958.html but still few grams heavier. They don't really say its Uno stem so I don't know what it is, sure looks same as Uno.

I'm pretty sure these are legit. My 90mm UNO stems with titanium bolt replacements come in at around 90g. I've bought like 4 of them from this store.

Ok good to know. The weight is similar to one of the links in my post. I guess those are the lightest on Aliexpress at 105 grams for 100mm. The ones on Fairwheel bikes and couple others are 98 grams with steel bolts. No big deal but there is some difference. Fairwheel sells them for $50 so that's a hefty surcharge.

Those stems have crept up a bit in price but still offer great price/weight value. I recently got a couple of those Darimo IX2AL stem dupes and been impressed. 90mm stem was 67g and has held up well on my MTB this year. I still rock the Kalloy stems when trying new positions before spending out on something which may not be good. My 90mm Kalloy uno with steel bolts was 102g fyi.

Man, those Darimo stems scare me for how light they are. Could you share the link from which you bought yours? I'm highly sus about the Odin Zeus stems too.
102 grams for 90mm Uno sounds about right. 100mm is 105. There are cheap Uno stems around $10-12 but those are heavier 6061 AL.The 7050 version is light but double the price. I'm looking at one for $18. Still not too bad. Now I realize I have always bought the heavier version.

Stems and expander plugs are one area I don't want to go weight weenie on for an all-arounder bike. You'd also have to take into consideration your own body weight as well. I have a powerlifter buddy who's built like a tank and I always suggest sturdier components for his bike then what I use.
