Wheelset "Zeitjaeger" from STORCK Bikes
« on: January 24, 2024, 02:04:22 AM »
Yesterday I visited a Storck bike store and the salesman introduced me to the "Zeitjaeger", amazing!!!

But is that really a STORCK own production?

I only know the storck brand for rebranding open mould frames and aggressively claiming their engineers created a bike that will average 40kmh at 200w. Scummy company if you ask me and about a 0% chance these wheels are their own production

I couldn't point you to the exact manufacturer but they vaguely look like something 9VELO could do to me?

Nah. Any decent Chinese OEM can make these wheels.

You can get Farsports Hyper wheelset for like 1000-1100€ with shipping and VAT. Storck pays probably like 50% of that to the OEM

More or less rebranded wheels which are made by Yuan An, also available as Elite wheels Drive.

I'm fairly sure Bianchi "Reparto Corse" carbon rimmed wheels are all stock Yuan An stuff too.

Interesting, what makes you think that?
If I had  to guess, I'd say chances are that they are made by vision - Bianchi's in-house Velomann alloy wheels use Vision hubs (carbon wheels have unbranded hubs from what I could see at the store), also sometimes they use Vision wheels instead of their own Velomann wheels (I just bought Specialissima Comp and instead of 33mm deep Velomann carbon wheelset it came with Vision SC30 wheelset).
