Winspace T1550 Build

Not many people post photos of their completed bikes on here, but I always enjoy the posts. So I wanted to post my recently completed build on here, and share how much I spent. A lot of builds on here are really balling on a budget but I really purchased from mainstream vendors for less sketchiness, build came out to $3,288 assembled by my LBS

Mechanics first "Chinese" build at the bike shop, he was very impressed with the quality and noted that the internal cable routing gave him no problems. All of the workers at the bike shop where really interested in the build and none had ever heard of Winspace. This really shows how obscure this forum is, we are so far away from mainstream. He did ride it and was super impressed with it, I told them how my goal was to create an entry level roadbike, but have carbon wheels at the same price point.

Just out of curiosity what country?
I have a feeling that winspace and chinese brands in general haven't penetrated the non english speaking market as strongly.

Knoxville TN, United States. Most of the people who I have ran into riding here seem to be older. Less exposure to the corners of internet

My previous bike was spec'd with Shimano Claris 8 speed, and let me tell you coming from that 12s seems excessive. I honestly think 10 speed is probably all you would ever need, so I would guide the forum to save money and buy the now "old" 11 speed groupsets at lower prices. The 11-34 cassette is absolutely ridiculous, and once it wears out I will be going down to a 11-30. Previous Claris cassette was 11-28, and I was able to make it up all the mountains here in east TN. What is nice with going from 8-12 is that the jumps between cogs are much smaller, which I never realized would be that big of a deal. I feel like the only time I would ever use the 34T is if I was bonking hard

That Black Friday deal for the T1550 and Hyper wheels was killer. I've been rocking my setup now for over 3 years. Still one of my favorite bikes.

Yes I agree with you, been doing same with 11 speed di2 and most times used (but in practically new condition). Have found facebook marketplace a good source

Yeah the older guys definitely aren't as aware of the Direct to consumer chinese brands since they have the money; the younger guys are the ones who have to stretch the coin and look around

Hey @Macedingle, just wondering the black friday deal you used 2450$ USD for the Frameset+bar+wheels did you also include an extra 10% discount code?

They are offering me 2580$ USD now but with SE wheels and no extra 10% discount code...still debating if I should pull the trigger or wait a bit more.

I am not the person you are tagging but afaik the SE wheels is pretty much the non-SE version with steel bearings, there is nothing wrong with steel bearings and probably better in terms of durability and long term performance.
If their offer is $2450 with SE wheels I would take it, but I would wait a bit if it is $2580 to see if they are going to have a sale soon.

Here is my T1500 w/ D67 Hyper Wheels. Over 2 years of use and still probably my favorite bike. Mechanical shifting Ultegra R8020 has been absolutely flawless. Elilee OSPW system...now out of production
