You guys are divas!
Rule of thumb is to buy low when the opportunity arises. Who's to say prices will stay the same forever?
Also there are multiple sellers on AliEx, for example you can find several variations of the SPCycle G056 frameset. I'd just buy from the cheapest seller for that frame.
I always search out the lowest prices from the more reputable stores. Funny thing is that often, the lowest prices do not reflect shipping, so usually those stores end up costing more than the the higher price with free shipping.
One other thing that is becoming more prevalent is that you see an item priced way below everyone else. I open the page only to find that they are selling an optional item at that price, and not the item shown in the picture on the listing. When you select the item for the shown picture, the price is higher than the one you have in your cart. Aliexpress stores really like playing these games.
I am already becoming burnt out trying to find the good deals. Usually when this happens I decide not to make many purchases, as it becomes a time spent finding the deal, versus the value of my time.
If the new administration really adds a 60% tariff on all goods imported from China starting sometime next year, then we are screwed, and China is screwed. One would think they would be trying to sell as much as possible at the lowest prices knowing that their sales will drop big time next year.
