grebnet:
At the suggestion of others I am going to start a thread for my build
I ordered frame , 100mm wheels with SRAM hubs, stem , handle bars and seat post from Carbon Speed. Just got notice that everything has shipped.
Plan is :
XX1 cassette, chain, derailleur
190 mm Race face hub and 28 chain ring , probably turbine cause next is so much xtr a
Shimano XTR trail brakes and 160 rotors Front and Back
Will go tubeless ( have it on My mountain bike without problems)

Tires ? Anyone know if snowshoe 2XL will fit ? It's a fat bike .. Wanna be fat !!

Comments and criticism welcome.  ???

Whatever tire you're getting, make sure you look up the actual size mounted on the rim width you've got. Looked up the Schwalbe 4.8"s and discovered they only measure 4.4. Guess that matches up with my 4.5" Snowshoes which only measure 4.0". Gotta love what a wonderful work of fiction tire sizing is - and has always been.

I hear the Specialized fat tires are really good. If you value traction above all else, then the Bud/Lou combo is supposed to have phenomenal amounts of traction, but they're heavy and roll slow. This is just what I heard when I was looking for myself. I want to try _big_ tires to see if getting closer to 5" helps with this "flotation" promise, considering the 4" tires didn't help me ride anything that I wouldn't have been able to ride with the 29x2" tires. Figuring my weight needs more width, but at this point a pair of tires close to 5" are gonna run well over $200. Yikes.

So, dunno on the tires... good luck! :D

Should be a great build! Based on rvc's experience with the same frame, you should be really happy!

Carbon_Dude:
grebnet, I look forward to seeing your build.  You are going to really like the SRAM XX1 1x11 setup.
