2017 27+ Dengfu FM006 (Scott Spark RC 900)

This frame is nearly identical to Dengfu's M06 29er frame. The ETT is slightly longer and the rear triangle is Boost with room for 27.5+ tires up to at least 3". They're still working out the geometry for the other sizes. (The name designation may also change.)

The geometry in 17.5 and 19.5 is identical to Scott's 2017 29er Spark RC. The racing Spark that Nino uses, not the regular Spark 29er or the Spark Plus 27.5+,

+ Boost
+ One-piece rear triangle
+ Very light (1850g)
+ Internal cable routing
+/- Aggressive reach:stack ratio
+/- Single-pivot suspension design
+/- Low bottom bracket for 29er wheels
- Very low bottom bracket for 27.5+ wheels
- A total unknown for frame rigidity at the claimed weight

Scott specs a 100mm fork for the Spark RC. It may be that the best 'trail' configuration for this frame employs 29er 2.4"+ wheels and a 120mm fork to minimize pedal strikes.

Thinking about getting this frame and pulling off parts from my Specialized Fuse 27.5+ hardtail.  Frame looks like a Stumpjumper or Camber from Specialized too.  Very tempting....

I too have been emailing Melody from Deng Fu.  She said the front triangle is the same as their M06 29er frame but with the 27.5+ they have to redesigned the rear.  Waiting on finalized geometry details  to see whether I should pull the trigger or not.

You can't go wrong dealing with Melody from Deng Fu. I just bought a lot of stuff from her and the service was 1. class and reply time was typically within the hour. I bought a carbon road frame and a lot of other parts and it was sent from China to Denmark in 3 days and quality was top notch as well.

Good luck

Slightly off topic,

But I was hoping that the 29er version of this frame was boost spec-ed rear, but it appears to be standard 142 :(

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread.  i just spoke with Melody last night about this frame.  the front triangle is the same as the M06, it is just the rear that is different.  i wanted to know if it would work with a regular 29er and she said yes.  the geo is also the same just with boost spacing at the back.

The M06 is a much closer approximation of the Yeti ASRC than the Scott Spark.

The -027? Yeah, that's a Spark.
