Chinese Titanium Frames...

My friend really wants a ti disc road bike and I've been pushing him towards the Waltly Elegance frame. It has UDH, T47 BB and standard 27.2mm seat post. Since he's a physically bigger guy, I suggested he get the seat post in titanium as well.

Slightly different dropouts, they updated it recently, and dropped approx. 300g. Thats what Sumi confiremd to me.

I currently mounted the Schwalbe Rick XC 700 x 2,25" tires on Peters XM Carbonspeed wheelset with 32 mm ID. They also fit easily into the frame. Weight is 9,8 kg with the Rick XC. I am open to sell the frameset including handlebar und seatpost as I do not get an emotional connection to the bike.

48T for 1by - for 2by I have now idea, I think it depens more or less on the size of the front derailleur.

How does it come you're selling the bike/frame more or less just after having finished the build? Is there anything you'd design different with todays knowledge?

I am focused on road bikes so I will be not really doing any kind of big gravel trips. Design wise I would suggest a classic seat clamp, a little bit more space for the rear brake line in the BB area and maybe a little more weight optimization.

My 2nd Chinese TI is ready to be shipped. I went with semi internal, the brake lines routed outside the bb.

If I recall correctly about 2 months. But in fairness to Waltly there were Chinese holidays in between and I think they were not yet finished with frame design/geometry when I decided to go with this new design

How's the seat post clamping mechanism?
What's the max tire width (WAM) as you see it?
Did you weight the bare frame, and  what is the bike's weight as seen on your pics?
I'm thinking about ordering the allroad version of this frame.
