Watched some Hightower reviews - I'm confused on the sizing.  If I went to the store and bought a size L Hightower, am I choosing a L in this frame too?  Or a M?

Yes - Medium.  haven't thought about color.  Just watched the Pinkbike roadtrip series last night and the Hightower looked pretty good.  If this is a copy ... works for me.

Updated to size M based on the Santa Cruz website saying I'm a L (I'm right on the line of L/XL in SC sizing - most advice seems to say to size down).  Thanks!

Eddy mentioned they accept Pantone codes if you want something other than the colors posted on pg. 1.  For anyone that wants the sweet blue color that SC uses on the 2020 HT, the paint code is PMS 2153c. 

I would imagine it would be cheaper if several people ordered this custom color.

Looks like I missed the sizing recommendation: I think I have to go with a size S? Anyone have recommendations on where I can figure this out? I’m 5 7” with ‘regular’ proportions. Thx.

We're waiting for them to confirm measurements on the listed 17.5/medium there, but according to the chart you'd need a haideli small. I don't know where the confusion came from on their end but it might be from simply taking the seat tube in MM and converting it roughly to inches.



Maybe Trek was smart to move away from the numbered sizing for mountain bikes.

May be to avoid further confusion we should all stick to the geometry sizes given in the first page, and stop doing references to s,m,l,xl given that Haideli does not use them.

The sizes s,m,l,xl are on the Geo chart on the Haideli site and doesn't record them in inches. So does the Winowsports site.

Hmmm.. okay I'll change the size listing and use this geo chart instead. Hopefully, make things a little more clear.

Either way, this thread was just to give Eddy an idea of the number of frames and sizes. Everyone will give their final size selection at the time of order, so if you look at the numbers and decide to change your sizing, it isn't really necessary to change it in this thread.
