Listing the components (partial list).

That's a nice build.

As for the dropper, I'd recommend anything from BikeYoke. Their products are supper reliable and easy to use. I'm going with the BikeYoke Divine SL 31.6 for my new Ti build. Hopefully 80mm of drop is enough.

Finally done.

The front hub's rotor attachment point is a bit wide. The 180mm rotor have a very narrow clearance from the fork. Barely rubbing the fork.

3 things that are likely to change.
1. Chainring, the 38T temp is tight, barely fit. Coz I moved a spacer to the non-drive side. See pic.
2. The 780mm handlebar might have to go, it's just too wide for my taste.
3. The stem might go, more for aesthetic reason.

Fit was spot on, except for the handlebar length that made it feel a bit awkward.

I replaced by hb with my old 700mm CB Iodine 3 and also replaced my 38T cr with the, literally just arrived while I was swapping the hb, Stone 34T NW oval chainring. Did a couple of loops around the neighborhood to dial in the cockpit configurations. And boy, I loved the fit! Just perfect.

If weather permits, me and a friend will go trail riding tomorrow morning. I'll be sure to report the ride.

The bike looks fantastic! Why do you not like the stem?

I actually liked the stem because it only have one-bolt to adjust the hb. But aesthetically speaking, the blueish-grey color felt off. I'm also planning to sell the 780mm CB Opium 3 bar and it would fetch a better price with the stem.

Took it out for a short trail ride. Experiences...

  • Sluggish start.
  • Pretty good climber, although I had to compensate a bit on steeper climbs as the front wheel likes to leave the ground. But I believe this is due to the fact that I am using a much longer fork (29+) that altered my front end angle.
  • The fit reminds me of my plus bike (CS-496), which I really loved.
  • Nimble & stable on descends.
  • Pretty fast on flats. Although feels a bit heavy on the rear.

I'm loving it.
