Interesting, hopefully a bit cheaper that wheeltop

Whoa, how'd they get around SRAM's patent hoarding on the removable RD battery? The other question, can this sync with the current eGR shifters? I don't see why they couldn't sync together. If so, I know what I'll be ordering in the next few months for my gravel bike!  ;D

Joe has said apparently they are cross compatible with drop-bar levers in a reply to one of the comments - this could make for an interesting gravel option then (if it's reliable...).

That's great. Since we know eGR and eR9/eRX levers are all cross compatible, it seems to indicate this is all one big, happy electronic shifting parts family. Pick an RD, pick a shifter, and have fun! Ltwoo might still have some things to work out, but I really like some of their system ideas (non-proprietary battery cells for their road units was another idea I'm a HUGE fan of).

GCN have confirmed compatibility with all of L-Twoo's other levers in their video from Taipei day 2 (and even demonstrated it with the TT levers).

This also guarantees they can be paired with eRX FD too right?
Pair one shifter to eRX FD and the other to eTX RD for a widerange 2x setup? The seatpost battery powering just the FD is weird, but that's a setup I want

Unless they changed it for the new releases, the fd has no logic or wireless signal reception. It's a slave unit to the rd which has all tge "brains", so you would need an rd that supports this.

The RD is the "master" or the system, so it seems to handle the communication, both with the brifters and the FD. This one might not have the ability to control an FD, but I believe someone confirmed the eGR does.

If that's true, then you could do what you want with the new eGR that was announced, now with 50t compatibility.

I just realized ZRace was already posting about the LTwoo eTX back in November 2024 on Chinese social media! I didn't even notice it. I could have given all of you the advance notice last year!  :D
