I don’t know any of the Chinese companies, Voler will do one-off jerseys/bibs. It’s not cheap.

I have two of those jerseys in size M and they fit nice and snug on me - I am 183cm/73kg, slender upper body, narrow shoulders. I would have sized up one size if planning to layer up underneath it, though. Also, you have to like your jerseys short in the front.

Is there anything in the middle for these 2 models?

I’ve tried the Darevie Lifttint 2.X and Lameda Dash bibs. I liked the Darevie because the fabric is thin but the compression is non existent. The Lameda Dash has an awesome pad but the fabric is rather thick (and inseam is too long)

Is there anything “just right”? Because it’ll be closer to an Assos if I can find one

Weird, got them in L with 185, 80kg but can’t reach the back pockets. For me, way to short on the back

Unfortunately the Chamois didn't fit for me and there were bad wrinkles...i removed the chamois carefully and need to replace them with the Darevie ones (they can be ordered as single parts)... since I don't like them for winter but spring/fall time I have some weeks for that left

I did wear Darevie's bibs(not that particular model) in S for years (178cm/69Kg) but now I buy them in M, they've got tighter.
A positive, is that the legs as a result are a bit longer now.

To bring this topic up once again.
You are absolutely right. I have a couple of the cheaper colourful versions and also the better version with elastic interface pad  in S. Twice of them,  with the rainbow print on the leg. And then i ordered a third one somewhere late summer.  It is to small
.. Unfortunately i hoped it may relax a bit (not really , it's a good fabric...). It's so uncomfortable that I can't even use it on the power trainer.
So I ordered an M. It's tight. Maybe even a bit more than the previous S. But it's definitely the right size for me as I also ordered L for a friend who was curious...so I just took the chance to just test that size.
It would have been smart to make a note.. something like "we changed the cut, please go up one size"
Honestly....i am expecting just open communication,  but at the same time I know that also europan companies are not able to do that. (But why? They just make their customers unhappy with this hidden changes..)

I have been pretty happy with Cheji bibs (red pad), but I still haven't found my go to jersey.

I want a race fit but also good smooth fabrics with some aero ribbing on the shoulders/sleeves.  Has anybody been happy with any of the Ali options on race day?

Bibs; seem made very well.  Material seems a bit thicker than YKYW, Darevie bibs.  The legs are long!  I’m 5’5” 125lbs and the smallest size fits like a glove perhaps even a little too snug.  The ad shows a legit IE pad, in person it looks like a cheap knockoff.  I rode about 90 minutes on the trainer with it. It’s not the EI Paris hp from the photos, but it’s not offensive to ride with.

The jersey.  I’m impressed.  Smallest size fits great, the gripper material on the waist and arms is very nice.  Collar isn’t obnoxiously tall old school.  Material is nice and stretchy.  I ordered white, it’s obviously a little see through.   I’ll definitely order the black next time.

i wish I could find AliExpress jerseys that are tiny.   The smallest available sizes of Darevie, YKYW and Spexcel stuff isn't small enough.    I find Voler XS aero fit to be almost perfect, other than a little long in the torso.   

Any recommendations?

Here’s a photo of the BCBE bibs next to some YKYW bibs.  Both advertised as the EI Paris chamois.  The dark grey of the YKYW matches the ad photos.  The lighter colored chamois of the BCBE is a bit less dense.

I am looking for some mesh jersey for hot summer days. My primarily goal is that they have some strong pockets in the rear so I can carry lots of food (and phone ,...) without having a jo-jo effect. I do a lot of short surges on steep climbs and jo-jo is annoying as hell.

I have some short sleeve jerseys from sugested brands in this thread, but they are not exactly for hot summer days.

Currently for hot days I have DHB Lab mesh jerseys. They are great, but naturally the rear stretches quite a bit after time. I see some top brands have some inovations to  avoid vertical stretch on the back, but they are pricy as hell.

I also had some EI Paris blue ones (different brand) and they were thick, when I ordered YKYW. They came grey and were a lot thinner, so maybe the grey ones are thinner now? However as you mentioned, they are advertised as EI also BCBE has a little EI logo tag on their shorts just like YKYW on the ads. If they are real, that would be the best price but I guess I will wait until more people comment about them.
