Hey! I just found the frame available near me and I am interested in how it looks built, any chance you could share more pictures, specs and experiences of your build? Thanks!

Yes,

I am using a rear salsa axle if that helps. The seller does offer one but i didn't care for it because it is not conical.

I will take some more photos soon.

hello

I was planning on buying this frame but it looks like they don't produce XL.
I am 1.89m (6.2'). Do you think the L would work?
Thanks

Depends. For an XC build it might be ok with a longer stem, it's not a small frame at all. The saddle is set at 92cm on the photo and I am 181.

Anyway - I just wrapped up a temporary build, the fork is an overkill at 150mm, but I've yet to find something 120-ish. My notes:
  • I think I (almost) cross threaded every thread there is - both rear brake inserts and beginning of support threads (but the latter started to work fine after initial stubbornness)
  • front cable grommet plate design is stupid, it's not interference fit, nor screwed in, it is held in place by derailleur cable, it will rattle for sure.
  • front bearings need either a shim or taller bearings (IS52+IS42), not sure yet
  • my frame came with conical rear axle
  • I am not crazy about metal cable grommets, only one of them was for hydraulic hose, the others accept a cable without housing

In general - I am ok with the build. It's ok for a beater bike.

I had no issues with brake inserts at all
I shimmed the bearings
nice on your rear axle, i def had to dig to make mine work
