Got hosed by 2 ali vendors

Ordered a Level TLM set from a vendor. Got Level instead. "pay for return shipping and we will refund someday". Hard pass, Chase will sort it out. Vendor was "Shop4481028" which I think is just a random name created if a seller does not make their own store name.

Ordered a Sunrace cassette from 007Bike. A few orders got combined by ali into "combined shipping". Cassette was supposed to be in the package. Was not in there. Should have just bought from eBay, it was only about $10 more.

Yes their proposal was either for me to get about $80 back and keep the item, or ship it back on my dime.
Instead, Chase will just chargeback and tell me to keep the brakes.

Ali was better on the missing cassette issue, they approved a full refund without issue. I don't think 007 fully understood the problem, there seems to be a flaw in this "combined shipping" service where the vendor loses control of the item. A new tracking number gets assigned to the common shipping package, but the vendor has no idea if their item was actually included in the package.
