Going to replace my EC90 saddle with this one I found on AliX.

While I got used to the EC90 saddle, which accommodates my fairly narrow q-factor, the rise in the back makes me shift around too much.

So I picked a flatter saddle of similar width and weight.

Gonna add some automotive vinyl to it, just because

Looks interesting, what’s the weight?

Nice! Looks great.

Looking forward to hearing how it compares to the EC90. Using that saddle on both my road and gravel (eek!) bikes at the moment.

So far, so good.
I very much prefer the flat back on this as opposed to the raised back on the EC90. On the EC90, no matter how I adjusted the saddle, the slope tries to push me towards the nose of the saddle.

It is noticeably wider at 140mm (by 12mm).  This ought to be ok for me, as the rule of thumb is +2cm to sit bone width (120mm for me) for a roughly 45° riding position.
Still feels wide though.  Not uncomfortable, but noticeable. I can feel the flare against the back of my thigh on the downstroke. I wonder if it’ll wear on my shorts over time.
Still can’t  tell if it is too wide, or because I’ve just gotten used to the narrower EC90

Just picked this up, 110,1 gram "slightly" padded.

Looks like an exact copy, maybe less quality leather but very robust construction like the real deal. A friend rides the real one for 300 euro and looks very nice.

I am not gonna test it in a long time though as I have a 73g Bontrager XXX :P

Cosy carbon saddle is here!

Thanks SW!

I have one of the original versions of this branded "west biking" interested to try the newer version. Still trying to get the tilt/fore/aft just right but so far its pretty comfortable. I do get a bit of sliding around occasionally and it looks like this next version may fix that.

Update on my EC90 saddle. 3rd ride, hit a pot hole at 50 km/h and the saddle cracked.

I thought that was a picture of mine.
Cracked in the exact same place under similar conditions.
Seems to be a weak spot for that saddle

My EC90 is relegated to the smart trainer now.

Did you manage to get a new one from the seller?
