SRAM xplr flat top chain compatibility
« on: June 14, 2026, 08:48:11 AM »
Hello!

I have a force xplr e1 groupset on the way but I’d like to continue using my hudud cranks with XCADEY power meter. Any one know of any flat top compatible chain rings I could use, preferably 38t or 40t? It’s 110x4, I have a selection of deckas chainrings but can’t find if they’re compatible. I like the look of the pass quest chainrings but can only find 42t that state they are compatible.

Cheers!

Willos

Try STONE axs chainring, I am using Pass quest axs chainring, the noise is killing me, other riders recommend STONE chainring, the teeth is better compatibale.

for sure alugear and garbaruk are compatible, I have their. In general I'm having XMCS crank and Xcadey power meter. Recently I bought also Deckas, and it works great!

Damn I ordered a PASS QUEST SPRILL X110BCD AXS as it's the only 110x4 icould find, and only went down to 40t unfortunately, would have preferred 38t.

And thanks @Mariuszuzd, this Alugear should work if the Pass Quest is too noisy. I don't think Garburuk have a 110x4 that would work for me.

You could take a shot of PQ, because some of my friends they use PQ 1x is fine, duno if its the new chainring needs some work with the old chain.

I did run cheap Deckas rings with flattop chain and they worked fine, you need to test it. Look at the teeth profile, they were similar to Sram own chainring on the ones I had :)

I've not ridden it yet, but just fitted the xplr groupset last night, spinning it with the 40t Deckas chainring sounds fine, not noisy at all, and the teeth seem to engage well. Could have saved myself some money if I were more patient! But looking forward to the sexy silver Sprill chainring.
