Also ordered the TT-28 Starstream to color match my bike (Cosmic Violet).

- Colorscheme: it's ok, not as bright as in the site photo, the 'Sunrimoon' logo has holo colors which is nice.
- So far good, very comformtable,
- 'looks' aero because less ventilation stuff; also looks a little bit like Alien from the movies :D.
- Package was great,
- Paid $100 which cam in 89 EUR with Paypal, no shipping cost.
- magnetic straps are nice upgrade to my older 2 helmets
- Sun glasses fit for carrying them (which was not the case with my old helmets..).
- Delivery took 12 days from Nancheng to Germany.
- Even though i accidentally ordered an "M" it still fits my rather large head (usually 60 or something)

In total would recommend, maybe i would go with another colorscheme (Flashing Violet)

And this is the MAIN reason why Chinese manyfacturers have years to go still to catch up to Western brands. The quality control is absolute shit still.

Wow, how did you connected that with the QC? 😅

Because an M sized helmet should NOT fit anyone usually wearing 60 size helmets which would be L/XL for sure.

It all depends of the head shape.

This. There is a large table on the website with size differentiation in combination with the head shape.

this isn't about quality control at all. they just have a very different size chart and you need to double check because fatty western sizes do not translate very well

What??!?!?!?! You are saying that my fat western head at 58cm is somehow bigger than your eastern fat head at 58cm? how so? :)
But really, how many times did you buy the same jersey or a bib or a helmet etc. from the same manufacturer but different colour, and the fit is completely off? Happens all the time.

I just received the CS-57 'Alien' helmet from Sunrimoon. It's really good quality. The outer shell seems durable, the gel pads inside are comfortable (even comes with replacement foam pads) and the magnetic buckle is really convenient, you can take it on and off with one hand. The adjustment dial is smooth and can be moved down for a better fit. I opted for size M having a 58cm head and it fits me, but I'd go for size L if I had a bigger head. Also, really light at 240g.

The main drawback for me is the branding, which I find a bit loud. Probably wouldn't complain if it was a name brand to be honest. Also, the paint finish around the edges of the shell could be a little cleaner, and my glasses don't fit particularly well in the slots.

Overall, a great helmet! Well worth the $80.
