Isn't the flattop chain design more durable at the expense of slightly more friction?

Maybe original Sram chains since they have larger rollers. With these SUMC the difference is purely aesthetic in my opinion

I have recently decided to try out heat training, but I wanted to avoid paying an absolute fortune for the CORE body temperature sensor. I instead decided to give this a go:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007923415002.html

It is IP22 certified against water and dust, but I can also certify it against heavy sweating, at least after a few sessions. The app that is promoted with the product requires creating an account, and for some reason syncs everything to the cloud; I instead recommend using the Tempal app.

The only problem I currently have is figuring out how to securely attach it to my armpit. I am using the heart rate monitor strap for now, but it only works as long as I am not moving too much. I also just ordered an elastic hand band (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32833627238.html), which is going to take some time to arrive, but I think it should work much better. In the meantime, do you have any DIY ideas for how to attach the thermometer securely to my armpit?

hello,
Because of that round shape, I would check for glycogen straps.

Hope it helps!!

Anyone have any recommendations for a very bright headlight? I want something either with a big battery, 5000-10000+mah or that can plug into a uart bafang system bright for daytime commuting visibility close to that of a car or motorcycle.

The biggest one that i can found on Alix is this one https://it.aliexpress.com/item/1005007301180222.html and you can get even a bigger one that is also a power bank

I'm using this light since it has an attachment for the computer mount. Great for wilderness and riding in the mountains. It also repels cars at night by blinding them if you're into that!  ;D

First thing that comes to mind is weather or not you want a light that is USB 5V rechargeable with a built in USB powerbank, or it you have 12+V available from your Bafang battery and can run the light directly off your E-bike battery, or run a separate 12V battery pack for the light.  When you migrate to 12V to 80V LED lighting it opens up many higher lumen and wattage lights that are used on motorcycles.  (Going this route does mean that you have to install a switch and route some wires to the your batteries. - You stated you wanted equivalent to motorcycle brightness)  Some examples:

Anyone knows of any headlight that fits flat aero handlebars?

check the underside of your bars and see if they have tapped holes/inserts.   If they do, use a mount like this. If not, SOL.

Those do look interesting. Wouldn't be hard to wire up a uart plug to use the existing light connection and an inline switch.

I used Magene cadence/speed sensors and they are very good.

Confirmed! ;-)
Magene sensors are dual use and can you can choose between speed sensor and cadence sensor.
Very good.

thanks; dual use but not in the same time data of cadence and speed?

No. One sensor - one data (speed/cadence)

Hello! With the nice weather getting closer, I’m thinking about changing my cycling sunglasses without spending a fortune.
I’ve been using my current pair for about two years https://it.aliexpress.com/item/1005005205362570.html, so I feel like it’s time for an upgrade. I’d like to replace them with something similar to the Oakley Velo Kato, i found this on Alix https://it.aliexpress.com/item/1005010219055921.html
Does anyone have some suggestion?
