Thats great and all, but what it actually needs is automatic rerouting

Yeah. That would put it up there as legitimate competition with the big boys.

You're in luck because that was something I omitted - it does now have rerouting I just missed it, "Auto Back on Track When Veer Off Course"

Must have gotten over my head because this is personally a feature that pisses me off like nothing else does. I've always wanted to chuck my garmin in the river when their masterfully-designed to be annoying beeps come in the moment you take the smallest shortcut, I really hate rerouting

Does it actually reroute you? Or just point you back in the direction of the route. Not quite the same thing.

Your guess is as good as mine, translations always suck with IGS. I would assume the latter still

I bit the bullet and ordered this power bank/light for longer rides to charge my phone. I was given an additional discount reducing the price to $13 USD, though regular price is $19 USD. I figure I could place it on my phone mount which also uses a Garmin mount interface and I can charge it while riding.

I just received this Cyclami/Rock Bros power bank+bike light. It weighs just under 125g, has a slim profile and both the female and male interface garmin mounts are replaceable. The light itself is decently bright, but don't expect great illumination in pitch black conditions. At best the light will be good enough in city conditions for visiblity. Also it comes with both USB-C and lighting charging connectors built-in, though I feel the cord it a bit fragile, so I might go look for a short cable with both USB-C "male" connectors to charge my phone instead.

As intended, I plan to use it for it's power bank feature to charge my phone on longer road rides or when I'm on remote gravel bike rides. I only wish it had a bit more power than 5000mah. I can see a market for a bigger unit at the expense of more weight.

Overall I think it's a handy device for the price!

This items is a bit on the humorous side, but for some of us it is appropriate to support all of our Aliexpress purchases.

Thinking of bicycle lighting....

I purchased these 2 lights.  They are very bright.  I am pleased with the lumen/price ratio.   (I haven't tested them yes to see how long they last.)

I purchased the 2400 Lumen / 6400mAh version of the listing below.

I got the cane creek eesilk stem from the same seller, doesn't look too bad. The switch doesn't have any writing on it to tell you if you're on the soft or hard setting like the genuine. The machining on the inside of the stem is a bit rough but the finish on the exterior looks similar. Because of the questionable nature of the stem, I question if there is a difference between the different elastometers

I noticed the rough interior finish in the video unboxing that went up yesterday, though the youtuber doesn't mention it. As for labeling on the switch, his has it clearly marked. He does indicate that switching elastomers changed the firmness, so apparently, they're different.

Here's a screen capture that shows the  switch marked:

Here's one that shows the rough interior:

I'm waiting on his ride report before I decide if I want to try one.

Anyone aware of an Ali version of this bar?
https://coefficientcycling.com/products/rr-road-race-handlebar
I remember seeing it some time ago, and not from some random brand/store... but I've just look into Ryet/Og-Evkin/Toseek lineup and didn't find it, so not really sure

00Garza

Yeah it popped up for a short time right after I saw the first video of it on youtube by RCA (road cycling academy). Then it was gone just as fast. Haven't seen it since.

kbernstein

The official one or a knockoff that potentially got a cease and desist?

jes2k13

anyone got any links for a factor lando HT lookalike frame

Ludo

I'd highly recommend checking out the Pick 3 & Save deals on AliEx. They don't have any major items, but it's perfect for small accessories you wouldn't want to pay full price on. Items I've purchased have included cycling gloves, bike lights, compression sleeves, computer mounts, headset caps, shoe cleats, etc. Also shipping has been incredibly fast. The average delivery time to the US west coast has been less than a week and as fast as 4 days. Only downside is that there's no way to search for an item you want. It's based on your search algorithms and loosely categorized.
