I find this carbon bar interesting. It comes in narrow sizes with mild flared drops. No need to have a separate computer/light mount either since its integrated. Weight seems reasonable as well. It seems for those who want sub 36cm hoods, non integrated bars are the way to go on AliEx.

I wish more bars had alignment markings like that.  I built my first dropbar bike last year and coming from a MTB background I found the process of getting the lever position "right" to be extremely frustrating.

 I have seen those marks not be exactly the same on both sides as well. I either have the bar with drops flat on a table, mount the controls and measure from the table to the bottom of the lever OR modify a cheap derailleur alignment tool bolted to the headset cap to set the tops of hoods.

A current 8/9 speed MTB derailleur will work with 10 speed Shimano road brifters (e.g. Altus/Alivio).

Exception here is Tiagra 4700 shifters - but if you have those you can use GRX 400 rear derailleurs if you need additional range.

Thanks, at that price it seems silly not to try them.

The Zeray pedals imo are akin to ElitaOne in terms of these pedals are now my go-to lightweight budget option. They do weight about 280g as advertised and mine have help up well. I have used one set for 6 years and about 60,000. Mine devleloped play kinda quick but never got any worse so i never replaced them. Bearings also never serviced and still feel good. I ride everyday in the UK.

 I have been down this road before. Pick up a 9 Speed Shadow MTB derailleur. It will play nice with 10 speed Shimano STI controls. Both have the same ratio cable pull. I have used "travel agents" in the past and in my opinion they are best suited for adding cable pull in the braking systems and not shifting. I probably still have a couple sets kicking around.

last time I did a deep dive on Aliexpress fenders, I wasn't able to find anything decent.  I'd suggest sticking with the usual "name brands".

I've got a few of those around but i want a clutch and I have some 11 speed road brifters too. After a lot of reading am planning to pick up a GRX Rd to go with it as i've already got an 11 speed 11-46 cassette i can use. Don't think the 400 has enough capacity for that though, and i want a 2x front setup (was thinking 46-30) so it's going to be a bit of a stretch to fit all that if it's possible at all.
