Yes, their regular seatpost are like that too and works well with my ryet seat so we’ll see about that one.

They say this is only compatible with Dura Ace and Ultegra. I wonder if I could get away with using it on 105...

The original is Dura-ace and ultegra to. There is a seperate one for 105. I would not try it :)

Do you have a link to the 105 model? I can't find it in that seller's catalog.

The other thing is, I would like to run a shorter cage than the 105 di2 which Shimano says has a minimum low gear of 34T. I'd really like to run an 11-30 or 11-32.

Original is DuraAce and Ultegra 12-Speed - they state that is`s compatible with 11x DA (R9100) and Ultegra (R8000) as well. Has anyone tried that?

I'm not sure if this has been posted yet, but it's a sub-200g HG road cassette with only a single alloy cog, the rest are steel.

I just received one of these. 11-30 was 162 grams. Almost 200 gram lighter than the 105 11-34 I got on  ;D
Haven't tried it yet, so don't know about shifting. Looks well built

I choose a 50%/50% alu+steel in order to climb with alu but ride flat with steel.

30euro

11 speed 11-32 is 210grams

I don't like the alu / steel mix cassettes but with only the largest cog as aluminium... it could be OK. On the 12 speed cassettes the lowest gear is generally so low it doesn't get that much use, and you'll always be shifting from or to a steel cog so when it does wear, it shouldn't completely kill the shifting.

However what annoys me is that the headline price is just for 11-30, the 11-36 I want for my Marmotte set up is a full £20 more which pushes it beyond the price of all steel monoblocks (and TBH I value the all steel reliability / longevity over the tiny drop in grams). I will likely bite if it drops a bit in price.

I confirm the good overall quality of the Kogel Kolossos replica installed on my 8050 Di2.
Very robust, no impact on performance at all.
Even the lower bearing seems to spin decently.
I bought a ceramic 2RS 608 bearing in case of suicide of the stock bearing (I'm afraid it's ZZ not shielded)

This just popped into my AliEx feed, 182g 11 speed 11-34t all-steel cassette.

This kit to convert mechanical/rim brake shifters to hydraulic disc brake system seems interesting at $55 give or take.
