Thanks, how the hell have I missed that?

Aliexpress is increasingly becoming a skill. it's becoming very easy to overpay massively for stuff. price swings are sometimes massive, for no apparent reason. so using the coupons is almost a must. However, sometimes they increase prices ahead of the coupon period so that it looks like you're getting a good deal.
it's a minefield, really. Still better than amazon though, obviously. feels like amazon is eating itself to death.
Fast on the flat. And nowhere else.

Sometimes there are ridiculous discounts with coins to also worth checking. If you can stack a coupon and that once had -110USD on wheels like that.

Was thinking about starting a guide on how to get the best deals including different checkouts, coins, AE discount codes, store discounts, and events.
Slow on the climb. And everywhere else.

That would be great! I've had some good deals with coins, but they were totally unintentional finds. And I tend to forget about checking for store coupons.

I cannot encourage you enough to do so, that would be truly helpful to a lot of people, including myself!

Hi all, after lurking for a few years, I've registered to encourage you guys to create an aliexpress guide/tips sheet.

And to say thanks to all for the great advice and bargains (and possible regrets avoided) that I have found here.

When you got veteran lurkers registering just to say something, you know it's important  ;D

SENICX cranks have been slated by a number of people, but maybe the steel bearing BBs are better?

Where? The senicx direct mount 24mm spindle are by far my favourite cheap and reliable cranks out there and I have a whole cx season on them with even a couple of wins and never had a problem

Serra

Looking for some gravel handlebars with 20-30mm rise. Only found this carbon one sold by many different vendors. Not sure about it since im 90kg and sometimes use bar bag also

Okay, I guess there is quite some interest. Give me some days. This week is pretty busy. It will take some time to put together but I'll be working on it in the background.
Slow on the climb. And everywhere else.

Hi, I will have to replace my R8000 crank arm.
Do you have any experience with Shimano crankarm/cranksets from Aliex?
Are these original and trustable?
Do you recommend any shops?

Shimano crankarms are genuine. But are you not covered by warranty? Did you take it to a shop? They offer free upgrades for any de-bonded last 2 generations ultegra/duraace crankarms

The reason for replaces is not related with debonding. I got it from second hand. And after 3000 km axle is polished and rusted due to bb misalignment most probably which is making a creaking noises.

You can still make it debond itself by cycling it between some colld water and an oven. Frankly, I think it's basically a morally correct thing to do after Shimano's lies

Looking for rim brake caliper to replace Dura-ace 7403 that are too narrow for my Elite wheels. May do current Shim 105, but want to know if people have good experience from other brands. Would be nice to to stay under $80 USD
