I saw this a while back, it isn't notably lighter or cheaper than xcadey and even more of an unknown, so I didn't bother posting about it. There's a huge wave of similar spider PMs coming from china right now. They're probably all fine from an engineering perspective, just a question of how accurately they are calibrated from the factory.

The new’ish IIIPro floating center lock disc rotors are pretty good. I have them on 3 wheelsets and braking is solid. Just make sure to use a disc rotor truing tool if they’re not straight.

After seeing people’s mixed results with Chinese rotors, I just get lower end shimano rotors for cheap. I don’t care too much about weight. Nowadays I can find them for cheaper on eBay than Ali.

Magura rotors are also priced well on Amazon for less than Shimano-I bought a centerlock from them and the splining had less play than Shimano as well.

I forgot there's one down side, the rotors are marked as resin pads only. Though I feel like they bite so well, I haven't had the need to use other pad material at least for road cycling. My riding consist of lots of climbing and descents as well.

Actually, the PM isn't lighter than Magene, pretty much exactly the same, but the cranks are. You can achieve the same with single Magene P505 and a carbon crank. The Easton style mount does offer more options though.

Yes - I should've clarified that I was comparing with the Magene base cranks rather than the PM itself (they're all around the 100g mark, give or take a few grams). PM itself is certainly still an unknown for now though, but it's nice to see an Easton option that's not XCadey. Sadly Magene still doesn't seem to make an Easton compatible spider.

I'm a cheapskate when it comes to rotors. I get the rt30's for about $10-$12 on ebay. Not sure how much better higher end rotors are, but I have no problem stopping on these.

I use these too and notice no difference compared to the 105-level rotors (RT60?) that my bike came stock with.

Yes - I use them on two bikes, one with Shimano 105 Di2 12 speed, one with SRAM Red AXS 12 speed, both no issues.

Hi, am in need for some new rotors. currently still on the stock shimano SM-RT70. can you please recommend which to take, these or the "old" IIIPro ones mentioned a few post up. I ride mostly hills, so theres a bunch of long descends.
