I’ve not tried these either but I find the fit of ykyw jerseys (https://a.aliexpress.com/_EGvfuvo) a bit odd compared to my spexcel kit (188cm 75kg skinny build). The jerseys I have are L and the material is nice but the sleeves a bit short, and the sleeves and torso are both quite loose fitting. Similar with the bibs XL are a little short.

Both brand however, have terrible jersey pockets. Not sure if it’s the position of them on my back or just incorrect stretchy material, but they can’t handle the weight of a phone. They sag down and bounce all over the place especially if you get out the saddle.

Got some 2025 specxel kit arriving today hopefully they improved the pockets.

The answer is the pockets are still crap. And actually the L jersey fit seems smaller than my other spexcel jerseys, and the arms are slightly looser. Bibs have pockets which seem quite tight at least.

My phone jumped out of my specxel jersey pocket and got shredded when I went over a speed bump once. The jersey is quite nice but haven’t used that jersey since.

Have not tried this one specifically, but I regard YKYW to be the best of the AliX cycling kit brands. Too bad about those colors though.

The quality feels very fine but OMG YES!
The colors with this brand are just not my choice unfortunately :/

I wonder how these compare to the chaser version which is a lot more expensive, grams saved is the same.
Can you rock the caliper while it's mounted? Did you have any problems centering the caliper to the disc?

LOL as to cost. Its a "copy" of https://www.berk-composites.com/product/lupina-monocoque-open/, which is $550 Euro direct, although it can be found for a little less. I doubt it has the same ride qualities, but Berk's saddles also have a rep for fragility.

The quality seemed fine and it didn't break under my 83kg. Initially I found it very comfortable, but after about an hour the outer edge at the rear stays joint started hurting me. It may be just too narrow for me and better fitting for others, I don't know.

After that I tried the naked SLR copy since I knew SLR will fit me well: https://de.aliexpress.com/item/1005008665865233.html

The quality seemed fine too and the special comfort of those naked carbon saddles was there too. The magic is how slippery they are. On bumps you just move a little around in the saddle with almost no resistance compared to padded saddles, so it's never hard on the seatbones. But: You still feel every seam and fold in your pants, which was not for me in the end. I would probably use such a saddle on quite short efforts with very active riding where you don't sit flat much anyway. But since I do a lot of longer rides I decided I'll stay with 3-d padding.

👍🏽 Ahhh. I get it now. Thanks, and good to know. And it seems like (in my very limited look into it) that Ryet seem to price their saddles at about 1/5 of the model they are cloning. So while $110 seemed a little higher to me compared to the $40 3D Ryet ultimate I got last year, it's a "bargin" compared to the Berk.

Can someone with the Romin 3d printed copy by Ryet help me out with a measurement? I need to know how wide the saddle is across the yellow line in my photo. Im comparing this width to an actual Romin.

According to experiences on weightweenies, park tool self adhesive patches on a cleaned surface are bulletproof for TPU

I've been ruining my initial TPU's (way too expensive Schwalbe...) with these patches.
Be careful NOT to use the sandpaper as mentioned in the manual.
That ParkTool doesn't point this out does not speak for this company.

Now I'm just using the repair kit from RideNow that has the glue and standart TPU pieces. The included alcohol wipes are also not too good and I switched over to tissue and alcohol which makes lasting patches possible.
