ZTTO hydraulic brake calipers. They look similar to the IIIPro/ZRace XG calipers, but with just minor differences. These seem well priced, but appear to come with alloy pistons.

I detailed on this site how to convert the ZRace calipers to ceramic pistons which vastly improve performance for cheap:
https://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,6262.0.html

I'd presume the same can be done to these calipers. These initially were selling for under $30 USD for the pair. Though price has been been fluctuating.

Does anyone know any good rim brake pads they've found on Aliexpress? I'd use the search function, but most discussions are of disc brake pads. Curious to hear anyone's experiences on rim brake pads.

ZRace 3-color pads. They're a lot better than the ZTTO black ones.

The flat ones? How do they perform in dirty or wet condition without the grooves?

Came across Evosid and their cranks + chainrings. According to the listing, with the cranks (160mm for 477g + chain rings 50-34 being 165g), in theory, it should be in the neighbourhood of 650g ~ range (give or take). That's almost hollowgram light for this cheap while having the option to go shorter cranks (170 to 160mm).

Has anyone tried these cranks + chainrings? How is the FD shifting? These look too good to be true for a hobbyist weightweenie bike build...

I have these. I think both of them. I bought the crankset to use as a 1x but then later bought 2x chainrings to put on it. I never installed the crankset or the chainrings. I had an issue with them where the retaining lockring hardware started stripping the threads of the retaining lockring. I tried replacing the hardware with a longer one from the hardware store, but it was a tiny, tiny bolt and the required torque stripped the head of the hardware (the original one from Evosid was a torx screw, hardware store only carried hex head screws). So I ordered some tiny Torx hardware online and received them, but at that point enough time had gone by and I no longer really cared that much so I never circled back around to mess around with it.

Thanks for the input. It seems like the cranks I was looking at listed have been upgraded to stainless steel hexagonal screws to accommodate the stripping issue. However, the durability of these cranks under wear and tear remains a question for me. If you get around to using the crankset, please report back how they last!

If they do hold up, pairing these with powermeter pedals would be a killer budget combo for a race bike...

Here is the listing for the same crankset, but under different branding, with a lot of orders and good reviews. Regarding branding, the seller provides the following information: "The new logo (EVOSID) and the old logo (ZEROING) are sent randomly."

With discounts, it cost me around $30. I bought this budget crank to test 165 mm cranks before investing in something made of carbon. I plan to use it on my gravel bike during some harsh autumn/winter conditions. I'm also curious about the quality. I'll reach back here with a report after 2,000 km.

Is the BigRock the only 3 bolt 24mm carbon crankset available that comes in 165mm? Any DUB carbon options with 3 bolt that comes in 165mm?

If we are talking about Cybrei clones with steel axle, than yes. There was plenty of option with 3-bolt design and obviously flawed 24mm alloy axle - Riro, Racework etc.
The Peter mentioned patent issues with 3-bolt design steel axle without diving into much details. Perhaps this is the main reason we have only one option for the 3-bolt and around dozen for the Easton...
