good recommendation for a t47 86mm bottom bracket?

Praxis (you'll probably need their proprietary tool) or Wheels Manufacturing if your budget is higher-workmanship is several tiers higher than the typical Aliexpress brands like Zitto or Kactus.

Zrace worked good for me, kactus ceramic failed in 600km

I had bearings seize on me with cheap AliEx T47 bottom brackets after heavy rain. I now heavily grease the back end of all my BBs to repel moisture.

I know we're talking about Aliexpress wise, but for me, bottom brackets might be one of the few I wouldn't cheap out on currently (at least until a well known Chinese brand pops up). After browsing this forum for BBs, ZTTO BBs tend to be trash - it's a bit annoying having to replace your BB (even with the necessary tools).

Others have already mentioned different brands, but I've bought a Praxis for my build and it's been absolutely rock solid through varying crappy weather conditions. BBs are just one of those things where I'd rather set and forget.

I also don't wanna cheap out on BB. This is a set and forget item. That's why I use Bikone which are freaking amazing for the price

such a useless gimmick lol. IF this is even needed, just use any laser or just a plumb line. aligning the cockpit is the easiest thing ever. seriously, you don't need tools let alone a one use specialized one for such a simple task. that's just e-waste

Nah. For $15 this seems pretty handy, particularly if you're building a lot of bikes or repeatedly adjusting your fit. I don't particularly need one right now but this is a really useful tool for some.

While I like the idea (cause I'm anal about these things), I've read in at least one review of the same thing in another listing that the laser was crooked or something to that effect. That's generally something to keep in mind with gauge tools that can't be easily checked. No idea whether this thing could be adjusted.

For a shop I think this is great, especially if you sell and build bikes at volume, every little bit towards making your job easier helps. Maybe you get a particular kind of customer that's convinced you set their bars sideways and this is a quick way of checking or proving to them that it's just in their head.

For any random dude at home this is a nice to have but inessential, unless you have some bad ocd.

I ordered one and returned it. The laser didn't point straight. #you-had-one-job

I tested this last week, and did not worked as it should. At least on aero bars. I pushed it as far as you can, so should be straight line, but it was way off. On first attemp, I trusted it, but on the ride I then saw, it was way off. Have then repeated it several times, and was always off. So had to do it based on feel as always.

i'm deep into this rabbit hole. i currently own i think 7 pairs of offroad pedals despite only riding one bike.
zeray and west biking spd both had extremely inconsistent clipping to the point it was sketchy. sometimes no click, sometimes took a lot more force, sometimes very hard to release which made me eat mud once or twice.
the supplied cleats make both much worse, avoid at all costs. genuine shimano cleats make it better but still not acceptable. the zeray pedals developped play after maybe 2000km. i forgave the inconsistencies because they were a very respectable 280g. time atac xc were in the same league. light, sketchy and inconsistent and developped play early.
in the end as much as i wanted aliexpress pedals nothing came close to the crisp, consistent  clipping in and out and seemingly bombproof bearings. i picked up exustar ti pedals for 22eur locally that look like they've seen combat but the bearings are smooth, clipping is just as good as shimano for just 216g, 100g lighter than xtr. time will tell but i'm very impressed so far.
tl;dr get used shimanos and don't waste your time on ali if you want reliability

I've used some Zeray ones and another brand I can't remember. Both had inconsistent release and would occasionally pull out unexpectedly. Neither were fit for mountain biking but the Zeray ones have done a few thousand km on my commuter. For actual MTB use then the sweet spot for price performance is the M540. XTR do feel slightly better, the lower stack is useful, but they don't seem to last as well.
