Strange drivetrain. Your front ring looks tiny, do you have 10T at the back? Your cassette doesn't look especially big. It's an aero bike. I don't get it :)
Fast on the flat. And nowhere else.

It's set up for my Tour of Flanders sportive ride with sons.

40t front, 10-33 rear as top end speed on day isn't priority but giving myself a chance up the cobbled 20% climbs is!

In summer mode, in UK, I'll be riding 48t front and either 10-28 or 10-33 rear.

As a (long time ago) trackie that combo will get me as fast as I'll ever need.

Quick question: does anyone own an Elves Falath Evo frame and hasn't built it up? My headset bearings are worn and need replacement. In order to get my bike back on the road asap I don't want to rip everything apart and then wait for parts...has anyone the correct specs for the bearing? That would help a lot.

Hi. While looking into a Falath Evo I noticed new colors marked with Evo+. After asking Elves about it, I got the comparison below. T47 Bottom bracket and pretty different geometry.

Anyone has any further feedback on the Evo+ (2025) model? Looks like the earlier model is no more.

Never seen one and don't know anyone who has. Personally, I'd stay away from anything Elves.

Still nobody has tried this frame ? I am very tempted
I saw the handlebar is compatible with aerobar. It will be perfect for my future Ironman.

There is a guy in Australia doing youtube reviews on their frames, just search him up. Has a carbon specialist look at them. Interesting the massive variance in quality between orders of the same frame. I considered them for my build but couldn't track down enough info on their TT frame went with sone one else. It seems a bit hit and miss from what I can tell (only based on searching and asking around) on if you get a good frame or not. No personal experience with the frames at all.

No experience with the EVO, but I picked up a 2021 Falath Pro disc 2nd hand early last year.  Put several thousand miles on it with no major issues.  One word of warning, the saddle clamp sucks.  It took a few tries to keep it from slipping.  Once I got it locked in I have no longer had issues with slipping.  I get a lot of compliments on the paint job even though I didn’t choose it. Also, my experience has been that their BB shells are undersized.  Other than that its been a pretty solid training bike.

Regarding the question about headset bearings.  They are an odd size.  I could not find an exact match of their bearings anywhere.  Ended up ordering a replacement set from Elves US distributer.  Did a full tear down and rebuild.  Fairly easy to work on.

Probably going to switch over to a Longteng 301D in the new year. Going to move to something that is a little more versatile.

Isn't the paint too fragile? Many people complain about it (scratches, etc.).

I can only speak for my experience - a sample of one.

Photos of my Falath Evo are earlier in the thread.  Ridden Tour of Flanders, Ride London, and rest of year on it.  Paint was immaculate to start with and still is.  Ride has been comfortable and fast.  Needed to slim down my collection and kept this over the 3T Strada mainly because ride is similar but the paint job on this is nicer!

So as good as the 3T Strada? Is it really fast and comfortable on climbs? Have you been able to compare it to a model such as the SL8 or the Propel or another western brand?

PS: The color is sublime.

I haven’t noticed any issues with the paint.  It’s pretty tough, front is matte and it transitions to glossy in the rear.  No abnormal chipping or scratching other than from riding it
hard.
