Well, the two advantages I mentioned are actually decent for a commuter bike, despite probably not what people buy them for LoL. They also look nice in photos, but that is pretty much all about it.

I just got my frame a couple days. Waiting for some parts to start the build. I was wondering if anyone has run full cable housing to the rear derailleur instead of using the tubing and cable stops provided? How's the shifting with the tubing the way it's provided?

I have no experience with this frame, but from my experience with my carbonda 696 frame I would strongly advice full outer housing.
AT first I did only the inner cable but could not get it to shift right. Running it with the outer cable was the solution.

I pulled the trigger on the FE-02. Should be here in 2 weeks. I'll post up some pics when it gets here. This'll be my first full carbon bike. I'm going to put a dropper and some 29x2 tires on it.

Did 2.0 tires fit for you?  I'm wondering if 2.2s might squeeze in there.

700 x 50mm (measured ~52 mm) fit fine on my FE-02 but I wouldn't go much wider, at least on the rear - you can probably fit a 2.2 on the front - but I found them to be too tall, i.e. brought my center of mass too far above the ground for my liking. I'm currently running 650b x 54mm (measured width) tires which fit in the rear with ~3 mm of room on all sides and I like the handling a lot more.

I was planning to build a bike for this frame for my wife but the problem is they dont tell you which sizes for the heigh tod the person?what is the size for between 5 '5 to 5'7?Flyxii dont have the size measurement for height suggested.

If she already has a bike, you can compare the geometry on Bike insights to find what frame would work best. Here's a geo chart if it helps.

Small update on this build.


Frame:
The frame itself is rock solid. The flexiness I thought was in the rear triangle was actually the rear wheel needing tensioning.
Got a few thousand miles on it and no issues to speak of.

Brakes:
Was having a strange issue with the GR9 calipers and replaced them with GRX. Anytime it would warm up outside (which is often in south Texas), the brakes would start dragging on the rotor. I could make it go away if temporarily if I squeezed on the brakes really hard, but it would come back in a few minutes. Shop tried bleeding and adjusting, but it kept happening. 

Rear mech:
Also replaced with GRX 812 which handles the 11-46 cassette perfectly. The GR9 rear mech would easily get sloppy on the indexing. The spring was nice and strong, but it also made moving the bike on and off the trainer a hassle for me. Maybe user error.  The clutch is a game changer for rear wheel swaps or moving to the trainer.

This seems to be the most active FE-02 thread, so...
What are people's opinions of the frame, the process, and what it's like in terms of mud clearance.
I know you can get a 50 in there - I raced (badly) CX this season and had a really bad time with my frame getting coated in mud and there being no clearance.

I like the FE 806 but again note the clearance is 38c max (which is what I have on my 2015 canti crux)....

I sold mine and kind of regret it. Tons of clearance on this frame. I had 45s on mine with plenty of room to spare. Only had a few muddy rides, and it was not a problem at all.

I ran 700c x 50mm tires with plenty of room in the front and a few mm of clearance in the rear. With mud I probably wouldn't go past 45 in the rear. I also ran 650b x 53mm (measured) tires with a few more mm clearance, and the bottom bracket height was much better for gravel, but for CX maybe you want that higher BB afforded by 700c wheels.

I used mechanical, but shouldn't be a problem with Di2. Plenty of space in seat tube/seat post for battery from what I remember.
