Carbonda FM1136

My 1136 got delivered  a week ago and I just had it built up!

Size medium, I had the frame painted through Carbonda. The paint job came out incredible. The "black" is UD Glossy Carbon, the exposed carbon layup looks awesome and really shimmers in the sun. The white is "pearl white" and has a nice glitter effect to it.

Weight came in at 7.7 kg w/o pedals.

Really happy with it so far. I used the carbonda supplied bar/stem and Carbonda headset. My only issue atm seems to be the gap between the steerer and the bottom of the headtube? Did others experience this large of a gap, did my mechanic do something wrong? SEE "Steerer Gap" attachment for photo

Dear 1136 users. Does any of you fit more than 32 mm tires for that frame? I found that 1056 can handle even 38 mm. Is it also possible for 1136?

 35mm also fits and there is still a little more space.

Hey guys, is that frame in full integrated version with 1056 handlebar suitable for Shimano 105 2x12s mechanial?

Thanks for sharing. Did you direct mount your derailure to the UDH or did you use a UDH hanger? I'm wanting to do a direct transmission mount using the XPLR 13 speed derailure for a 1x set up. Any insight on that with this frame? Did you have any issue with the gap on the steerer tube? How is the bike handling... any follow up on how it's holding up and the feel? I really want a Parlee Ouray or a Cannondale Synapse Lab 71 frameest but 5300 and 6000!!! This frameset with seatpost and integrated bar is under 1000. Any comments would be appreciated.

I'm lightening my 1136 and found some ultralight seat clamp wedges on AliX, not shure if they are compatible though.

Anyone that know what clamp models that fit the 1136?

I just received this frame a few weeks ago and noticed it came with a crown race. I thought this was an integrated crown race on the steerer tube? Or did they just throw a crown race in their headset pieces?

I’m also wondering if the steerer tube gap above is because they installed a crown race even though one isn’t needed.

I may be totally off base here, but who knows.
