https://a.aliexpress.com/_mOsH8OD.   One in 14 and the other 16.   16 is on the bottom I believe (2 years since ai did this so don’t remember).   Shifting is great- I use a 36 in back with 50/34 on erx and 46/30 with a 42 in back for the egrx also a converted erx brifter in 2x.


It was tough getting it dialed as the app used to kind of suck and I had an erx rear go bad but since that has all been flawless.   Works great with my karoo and bryton (bryton has better options). I over extend the capacity mightily but avoid cross chaining.   They both work a bomb.   I do wish they’d implement full or semi syncro shifting but it’s not that much to pay attention to.   Getting the trim working on the front was way easier than di2.   The micro adjustments are such a better way of doing things.   I also really wish they’d allow arbitrary gear and cog teeth input/display.   As you might guess my drivetrain choices are never offered as options.

I had a ER9 RD fail on me too. See my post.
These V1s had nothing for sealing the housing around the control board. Nothing. I carefully disassembled the unit and found out.
No special O-ring, no sealant, nada.
They relied on the metal cover to hopefully marry-up into the main part and hope you never you water in there. Bad bad design.
If I had another one I'd take a small nozzle tip and silicone caulk the perimeter seal around the control board unit housing.

has anyone else had any issues mounting an er7 RD to a UDH hanger ? it appears the bolt is too long for the hanger. I've bought a different hanger (the original hanger came with the bike, and was labelled as a mini udh), but failing that does anyone else have any ideas?

I put clear decal tape on all my RDs and then use a heat gun to properly seal everything. I also rubber cement all the ports for additional sealing.

Do you have a photo of the problem? I'm surprised it doesn't fit. Totally defeats the purpose of having a "universal" derailleur hanger!

Not had any issues with UDH, is the bolt overhanging and causing issues?

Separately was considering trying a direct mount adapter with the erx rear derrailleur.
Has anyone tried it? Not sure how it would work if there are slight differences between the shimano B link and Ltwoo's.

Doesn't work, I tried it. That shadow-style ER9/X hanger is slightly different from Shimano's design. You'd probably need to manually modify it. Either that or ask LTwoo to release their own direct mount hanger.

I asked the same question above, but I can't find the dimensions for the OSPW Ultegra anywhere. I could modify it from a 105, they're similar, but I'd like a solution that doesn't require a file.

Did some measurements on my aliex 105 ospw and the notch for the retaining bolt is about a mil to short so the retaining bolt will not go into the rd body. additionally, the point in which the spring secures into the cage is slightly wider, but I can force it in. However, the cage spindle and such have all the same dimensions besides that 1mil shorter.

I use my ERX with a UDH derailleur hanger. The hanger is long, so I removed the extension from the derailleur and installed it directly. Everything works, but I had to replace the screw on the derailleur itself with a longer one, the bolt that adjusts the floor to the cassette (the standard bolt wasn't long enough, and the upper rod was rubbing against the cassette).

with a shimano 11-34 cassette should i use shimano's suggested 6mm b screw gap or the 8-10mm ltwoo suggest in their video about RD setup?

unless you get it for a particularly good price or have the rest of the drivetrain already i think you might as well just get 105 di2

So the bolt appears to be longer than the thread in the UDH( the thread ends rather than is continuous to the end) and  also  doesn’t have recessed area. I’ve tried to use an extender but then that doesn’t fit the collar. I’m going to get the b link type adaptor that comes stock on the er9 and see if that solves it
