So battery is okay? So what can be problem here?
The rear derailleur won’t shift gears because it ‘thinks’ it might damage the cassette?
And why does the indicator light turn green/red when changing gears?

Install the derailleur on the bike, with the chain, and test it! Or manually move the lever away and try shifting.

I installed the derailleur for now without the chain. It shifts, but it stops at the 8th gear and after that it only “clicks.”
What is going on?

Install the chain. The chain tension pulls the cage away from the RD body and it'll allow you to properly gauge the b-screw tension and dial in the low and high limit screws. You can also start fine tuning cog distance with the app. Stop asking questions until that chain is installed.

What is the difference of the two RD one is 11-34 and the other is 11-36? They have different design not only the pulley cage.

Does anyone use a Garmin 820? Does it show speeds?

A friend of mine has a V2 and RD failure. Ltwoo offered him a new RD and cables. He asked for a V3 RD and they replied that V2 and V3 are not compatible.
Can anyone confirm that?

on v3 the battery is charging from the FD

On my ER9 V2, the battery is charged via the FD. Are there different V2-versions available? I bought mine in Dec. 2024.

the 540 does you pair it as generic ant+ shifting there is a data field for the gear your in while riding but you need a connectiq app to see what gear you were in post ride, i tried a bunch and ended up using one called gear 27

the 830 show gears and battery with no problem. only in the begging a message for low shifters battery. i don't know if 820 shows the same

I am in the process of building my bike and have just bolted the eR7 RD to my frameset. I torqued it up to spec (11 Nm to be precise) and noticed it's still very much loose on the hanger. Am I missing a washer or some setup steps? Will it get better when I put a chain on it and set up the limit screws?

Someone mentioned there's a weird quirk with ER7 and UDH. Something to do with the bolt or something.
