The paint process was simple - give them a rough idea and they send you a vector of the frame with the scheme you want. You then say yes or no and then it's confirmed. I changed my mind after confirmation but was told it was too late.

Honestly I dont think u can fit 35 into the 017. I have gp5000 32 and there is not much clearance left next to the bottom bracket. I can try to measure one of these days

What is the rim's inner width? And how much clearance do you have?

Im building my new lightcarbon frame in size 49. I have a Wheeltop EDX TX groupset. Im having some issues on installing the FD. It seems it touches the frame. And it’s very difficult to place it with correct alignment, it rotates when I tighten the screw. Am I making something wrong?

That is a design flaw with EDS TX groupset.  I have the same problem with an older Specialized frame.  The WT FD design is so big that the battery case interferes with some FD hangers.  The is no real solution other than to remove some material from the FD hanger with a file.  But that potentially can weaken your hanger.

I can say that this issue has turned me off from future WT groupset purchases.  I have had zero issues with 105 Di2 and Ltwoo ERX.

I agree the the only solution is to make the FD thinner. But before I would like to see if I can find a good alignment the same. Tightening the bolt not too much it doesnt rotate too much.
I also noticed tha lowering a bit the FD it doesnt touch on the frame, I think that with a 50T chainring it would be easier. Im currently using a 52T chainring.
Anyway I completed the build, except this issue with the Wheeltop EDS TX the frame is great.
Shakedown went good, except a bit of noise from the FD on some gears. Very happy for how it rides!

My frame and wheelset has been sent, a month after ordering as promised.

Unfortunately I didn't receive photo's of the frame once finished.

Now I got to order a groupset, tires, tools and other parts to assemble it once it arrives.

I asked Wendy if they made some photo's and they did.

Frame size 58, color LCB-07HS. I considered a long time to add another color or some logo's but I'm not the most creative. Happy how it turned out.

I received the frame already, sooner as expected. The wheels haven't arrived yet and still need some parts and tools to assemble.

I had some questions regarding the steerer tube/fork:
1) there are some little dents (not really visible in the photo's)
2) there are lines but I think that's just an extra layer of carbon to add strenght?
3) at the top of the steerer tube there are some scratches in the carbon layer, looks like some machine marks

Is this anything to worry about or is this all good? LC asked me to give feedback once the frame arrived so.

it’s strange. i think they have changed sth lately. last frame i bought from them was about a year ago. it was mint condition and quality. before that all were perfect too.

the fork if i remember correctly had the hole on the side and fork had a serial number. but maybe it’s because i’m seller.

in my view it’s safe to ride, but finishing seems to be decreasing. anyway the only reason why i haven’t been buying from them is because clients want different frames. i’ll be happy to negotiate with them again if a customer wants a frame which falls into their portfolio

Even velobuild makes nicer looking forks. It looks like there wasn't enough resin to infuse the carbon fiber (the little dots / cavities). That thing that looks like a seam shouldn't be there either, afaik.
Light carbon seems to consistently disappoint, it's quite remarkable.
I may be wrong, I'm no expert, and maybe it looks worse on the pictures than it is irl. But after all the fails that were reported on this thread I'm surprised people still buy it. Won't even age well, the design of the frame is clunky.

I am so glad to have chosen Speeder Cycling when I see this.

Any other opinions of people with the LightCarbon frame?

Should I take this up with LightCarbon? I feel like they have good customer service and always did right by frames that went faulty.

The expander plug will sit where the scratch marks are at the top of the post.

For my part, no problem with the bike. It's a very good frame (I own two other bikes). That said, I would contact customer service for a problem as vital as a bicycle fork.

On Long Teng. Contact longtengalisa@163.com. I only have good things to say about the 268, i bought 2. full build with 32C 50+mm deep wheels is 7.5kg. The next frame i get is likely to be a 266 (for the mountains).
So get a 266 and let me know how it is
The gloss finish is awesome, depending on the light you can see the carbon below. The black matte is nice, but the gloss is super nice.
i got 36cm bars from Airwolf, love them. Uber stiff. Allegedly full T1100.

Are you using carbon saddle rails with that seat post clamp?

This frame was on my radar, after I damaged my Rinaschlta. I wrote to them several months ago for a frame, handlebar and paintjob, but never, as in never, get any reply, so for my point its a no go. I bought before this year a Emonda clone, which I cant use, even its same spec as original, part wont fit and consider it dangerous to ride, so it going to the bin.

I no spend some more cash and buying a Specialized frame, new with waranty, my chinadays are, for this time, over.
