Recommendations needed on carbon fork cutting tool

I ended up buying and using the ZTTO cutting tool guide, i ended up taking the bike to the LBS for an unrelated issue and he complimented me on the cut, put some tape at the point i was cutting and sprayed some water and off I went with the fine toothed saw that I bought from Bunnings.

Is it mandatory to use a width blade like the Park tool one or can you use a classic steel 32 tpi blade ?

A regular 32tpi blade from the hardware store has always worked for me
