I'm going to do Enduro LLU bearings. I that there are 6800 and 6801 bearings but I'm not sure what the main pivot bearing is.

Hello bangacan,  I have installed the RS bearings.

What psi are you running? Even at 100 psi the rear swing arm doesn’t move nearly as much as it should. Something just doesn’t seem right about this frame. I did change all the bearings but that didn’t really do much

Hi. What shock pressure do you use with this frame?
I'm 61kg and for 20% sag i pumped 63psi into the RS sidluxe shock.
In my previous bike i  run 95psi in RS deluxe shox with same sag.
This is a very big difference, considering that RS Deluxe has a larger air chamber. This means that the pressure on the Sidluxe shock should be higher (its volume is smaller)

If I let all the air out of the shock, the frame sags 43% under my weight. Frame doesn't fully compress under my weight
The pivot are very resistant to flex. Do you have this effect?

The upper chainstay look very weak without the bridge joint in between. The new linkage on the seat tube look heavy and unnecessary extra design that does not look good. The previous linkage design looks better, slicker, cleaner and lighter.

Hi, I hadn't noticed this yet.
I'll try asking Vivian for an explanation.
I've often wondered if the travel is actually 120mm, but I've never had a chance to measure it.
I can confirm that the swingarm offers a lot of resistance; without shock, you can't move the rear end, so you can't see the actual travel.
Do you think changing the linkage is enough, or is it just the mounting point that's different?
It's aesthetically disgraceful.

I've spoken with Rose.

She told me it's an upgrade that's in the testing phase. It's a reinforcement for the rear triangle.

When it's finished, I'll contact her to find out if she'll include it for those of us who have already purchased the frame. Although I highly doubt they will.

So does this mean there were problems with the "old" system? I haven't encountered any problems so far, but I've never been able to measure the actual travel. The chassis without the shock absorber is very stiff and can't move.

I don't think there will be any problems.
They're making modifications like other reputable brands.

I've had it since February, and I honestly haven't had any problems, except for the bearings, which were rubbish.

I certainly haven't measured the rear triangle travel either.

We'll be keeping an eye out for any updates, and I'll keep talking to Rose.

I don´t want to be seen as a guy who (always) has frame breaking and warranty problems..

but here we go again:

In the end of May I loved riding the FM121 in the local sandy hills full of pine trees. One day I washed the dust covered bike and removed the rear wheel and saw it: just above the rear brake mount was a crack going around the seat stay.

Someone predicted in this topic last winter that FM121 has a weak spot there and I think he is right.

I contacted Tantan and sent pictures of the frame. Everything went well and got the message I get a new rear triangle.. but I have waited for it for 4 months now. They offered me a different color rear triangle after two months, but told them it has to be same.

Hi, these are always unpleasant situations. Unfortunately, we know that dealing with them for assistance is always annoying. It's nice that we never know how they respond. I'll also check my frame in that area. Do you have a photo? Just to understand what the breakage is. Thanks.

Wow! The breakage is very obvious. Do you use the same bike? Did this happen with a 160mm disc? I'm asking because I use a 180mm disc, even though they say you should use a max of 160mm.
