I use 160 mm rear disc. After seeing the crack the frame has done 0 meters of riding.
I changed the bearings on RM Element, took the paint off and polished it. It weighs a bit more but feels like a low flying sofa  :)

Good morning, regarding the frame mounting pin, I'm still having issues with play in the shock absorber bushing. Tantan supplied me with two pins, but they measure 7.85mm, whereas the bushing's internal diameter is precisely 8mm. I can't find a pin with a precise 8mm diameter, so there's still the play issue. I'm currently experimenting with this solution. I weighed some 0.10mm thick brass foil and inserted it between the pin and the bushing. Since it's a frictionless material, it should work; the play seems to be gone when I move it by hand. I'll let you know when I mount it on the frame.

We used to use pieces of an empty aluminumcan on our downhillbikes back in the days when i was younger to remedy the play in the bushings.
Worked surprisingly well :) Brass seems like a better idea

In Italy, it's called "Spanish paper." It's used in the mechanical field for thicknessing. It's sold in various versions and thicknesses, from tenths to hundredths, etc.
Tomorrow I will try to cut out a precise rectangle to insert so that there is no space left and it fits well, in my case I used a 35x25mm rectangle with a thickness of 0.10

Hello Niklass. You should speak to the sales representative so they can send you the correct pins. They don't look as aesthetically pleasing, but I haven't had any problems with the shock absorber looseness since.

Hi, yes, the photos are mine! Niklass has nothing to do with it...
Could you send me photos of the pin Tantan sent you? I have three types, and they all have the same problem...

This evening I removed the shock absorber from my bike and was able to measure the actual travel.
I took measurements between the saddle and the wheel and between the two ends of the frame in the area where the shock absorber is mounted.
The result was very satisfactory: the rear triangle has a total travel of 140mm before locking out. ::)
The shock absorber has room for 50mm of travel.
In my case, with a shock absorber with 45mm of travel, the travel will be exactly 126mm.
I was able to test the stiffness of the rear triangle flex, which is quite a lot. I took photos of the measurements and also a video showing the elasticity of the rear triangle, but I don't know how to post the video. If you want it, please explain how to load it.
In conclusion, I think this bike is perfect even with a 130mm fork. 8) 8) 8)

Hello

I finally got the warranty rear swing arm. It has a different design compared to the broken one. I hope the newer is stronger.

My frame was arrived with same updated rear triangle. Rear triangle cracked near lower brake mount on first ride. They promised to replace it.

I don't notice any differences... it looks identical

Angle of the photo could be better, but the new one has a curve above the rear brake tabs. A 4-pot brake caliper fits in. The old one took only 2-pots.

ok my frame also has that curve but I mounted the 180 disc so even the 2 piston caliper struggles to fit.

THE END OF A DREAM.
This is the end of the story of this frame I had so desired and which I carefully assembled, choosing all the components one by one.
This is the second frame I assembled with Seraph; I've had two identical ones.
Those who have followed my story will know that the first one I purchased, the one you see in the photo, was lost by the courier, so after months of debate, Seraph sent me another unfinished one, which I painted and assembled myself.
Once I received this other frame, my real frame that I bought a year ago, I decided to assemble it to make my final bike.
Well, this morning during my fourth ride, here's what happened; let me know in the comments.
Luckily, I'm still here to tell you about it because it was a truly terrifying experience. I was riding down a dirt road at high speed.

Wow! What a scare, right?

Have you said anything to the brand? What a mess! The important thing is that you weren't hurt, but that's unacceptable.

I hope they at least refund your money, because I understand you won't want another frame like that.

Mine is working great for now, but I'll keep an eye on everything.

Let us know what the seller says when you hear from them.
