Found this on the internet, I have this same problem and friends to.. with +- 5 units now.
Are there more people here and anyone found a solution? Below 300w the noise are rare for us but when doing longer blocks above 300w it gets worse and worse.

Dealing with the same issue. After some days riding in a rainstorm (although I did dry the bike off afterwards), the calibration results are always between 35 and 50, leading to the results being rejected. Via AliExpress, I was given the same instructions as you to reset and everything. Nothing has worked so far. I guess you really gotta be careful not to ride in too wet conditions with this PM.

Took a while, but Magene honored their warranty and I got a new P505. Seems like the old one is deactivated now, as it only sends zeros. Its calibration results are now up to 300. Gotta be careful not to get this new one too wet now I guess.

After two years of riding, I finally gave up. For the first two or three months, I heard clicking/squeaking noises. I thought it was the bottom bracket, maybe the Ninja-Token bearings, maybe the wheels – lots of different ideas. But it was the left arm of a Magene P505 Base. After reassembling it, it helped for 200-300 km, then the noise reappeared. I ordered a new bolt, but that didn't solve the problem.

I like the look of the P505 Base, and the accuracy is quite good, but the noises coming from inside it finally got annoying, and I gave up. I put it on my indoor trainer and am looking for a new power meter for my outdoor bike.

After having the pinch bolt work itself loose, I accidentally stripped the threads on my left-side crank arm by putting power through it. I've since replaced it with an Ultegra R8000 crank arm and have had no problems with that. That might be worth a shot, you can often find the left crank arms for cheap used from people who buy left-sided power meters.

Edit: You may have to fiddle with some spacers to get the preload right.

You're probably right. Now the left arm moves 1 mm back and forth before I tighten the bolt. But the Shimano crank design is completely different from the Pes crank and looks odd with this combination but nevertheless it was a bad design of the pes crank ver 1

having the same issues. i'll upload a video to social networks so people are aware of this crappy design. good power accuracy but this completely ruins the experience. also sending complaint email to magene.

Looks wise it's really not that bad, or maybe I've just gotten used to it. For me it's easily worth it to get the peace of mind of something that just works.

I've got one on my Trek Domane with a Praxis internal T47 BB. There was some frame contact so I put a very thin spacer in and it's been fine. What don't like so much is that the bearing is more exposed than I'd like.

I have just bought the p515 version but another user on Reddit reported a need for a spacer on the drive side for that version also. Maybe a 1 mm spacer. But where did you put the spacer. This is the non-drive side in the picture so I do not understand. I will assume that adding a spacer on the drive side will get the crank-arm closer to the frame than the normal 3 mm.

Does anyone know where to buy replacement cranks?
As i have to do a switcharoo between the existing gravel, my roadbike and the new gravel bike. I need new crankarms as the one from the old gravel bike have lost a lot of paint and as the should go onto the roadbike some new would be nice.

As far as i know you can buy just the crankset for the TEO not the P505 or 515, you can get it on Alix https://it.aliexpress.com/item/1005010433411745.html but it's more expensive than the whole P515, or you can get the geodid for half the price of the Magene Teo Crank https://it.aliexpress.com/item/1005010209156892.html
