Is this a tailfin mounted on the rear of your bike? Or which brand is it? And if yes, do you need some kind of special adapters for using the tailfin on this frame, as I'm also planning on doing bikepacking with it.

Is there any reason the Lexon Thin Line handlebar wouldn't work on this frame? I currently have PRO LT Gravel handlebars on it with a red shift stem so I am trying to match the shape of those more closely and the Thin Line has the same flare whereas the Unox has quite a bit wider flare. I don't know if the stiffness would be a problem since it seems like the Thin Line is designed for road and is probably lighter.

I also ordered the Lexon Thin Line handlebar, as I'm not a huge fun of flared ones. I'm a roadie by heart. So I think you're fine, as the Thin Line uses the same spacers as the Unox, other people are using here. But considering this, I have a question for everyone who mounted the Unox on this frame:

The package came with a plastic and aluminum c-ring/compression ring. I'm almost certain I have to use the plastic one, because it gives me the height needed for the first big mandatory spacer. The aluminum one is too low, the mandatory spacer just sits on top of the headtube and doesn't engage in th alignment hole. Or am I doing something wrong here?

Both compression rings can work. The plastic one seems to fit better for most, so preferably use that one.

Hi everyone! I have finished building my gravel bike on the GR201 frame. When I saw the finished frame I was afraid I would have to repaint the whole thing because it seemed too bright and colorful, but after adding the rest of the black accessories I now think it turned out quite interesting. The weight of the bike weighed like in the store (without accessories and pedals) pleasantly surprised me, even though I switched tires from Tufo Thundero to Specialized Pathfinder, where each tire is 100g heavier the weight was 8,29kg. After adding Zeray pedals, bottle cages, Garmin mount, mirror and a fairly heavy bell, the weight increased by 500g to 8,79kg. I am 186cm tall and the frame size is 56cm - in my opinion ideal, although now I would order a 100mm cockpit instead of the current 80mm. I was afraid that the position would be too aggressive, but for now it seems very comfortable.

So I started assembling the bike and everything went well so far. I've used the plastic ring and it works. Shifters are attached without spilling too much oil and making a mess like last time I've done a build. Rear derailleur mounted, crankset, seatpost and saddle. Yesterday I've went ahead and tried setting up the rims, which resulted in following problem:

I'm running Elitewheels 45 Edge-Gravel wheelset which are hooked and have an internal width of 24mm. In the front I mounted a 2.2 Conti Raceking and 2.0 in the rear. After initially setting the tyres without sealant, everything went well. Then I started handling the mess and added sealant to the front wheel. This is my first time running tubeless btw. I didn't make a huge mess to my surprise and even tho I had some spillage, I was able to clean it very quickly. I pumped up the tyres to 3.5 bar / 65 PSI which isn't the max. printed on the tyre sidewall. Didn't hear a loud pop, but everything looked fine.

To give the tyre a good spin to properly distribute the sealant, I mounted it on the bike to avoid doing it by hand. I've noticed that the front wheel still had a little wobble, so I thought it isn't perfectly seated. After demounting, I gave it a few pumps with my floor pump, so not overly exaggerate the pressure and I've heard these little pop sounds I'm familiar with and was sure, that the tyre is now seated correctly. A few seconds later these horrible cracking sounds started, continously without any pauses. In panicmode I tried to deflatet the tyre, but I was so shocked what just happened. I've never heard something like that. I demounted everything, checked the tyre and the rim. The rim has no visible cracks, no damages on the inside or outside and when I give it some thumb pressure on the sidewalls, I don't hear any delayering or cracking.

I've used the tubeless tape supplied with the wheelset. The rims are carbon btw. Did I destroy my wheel, or is it something someone has also experienced? I'm still a bit shocked and worried.

EDIT: Definitely something happened to the rim, it's out of true now.

Hard to say without seeing the wheels what exactly happened but yeah it does sound like they had a critical failure. Might have been a leak into the chamber below which is not intended to be pressurized and might have caused a crack there. But that's just a guess. Could be anything else. Best to reach out to the seller/manufacturer and check with them. Might wanna ask in another thread that is specific to (these) wheels since this issue is nothing related to this frame itself.

The wheels are Elite Edge with a 45mm rim height, and the tires are Specialized Pathfinder 42mm, although 45mm would be ideal for me

I know that the mirror and bell do not fit and only add weight, but when I go on sections on the street, they significantly increase the feeling of safety

I cannot stress enough how much a bike radar adds to that like the Garmin Varia or wahoo TRACKR. Seriously consider getting one. If you are riding road these things became essential for me.

I don't like riding on the road and I do it as rarely as possible, but sometimes you have to ride a bit and then it is an irreplaceable help. and on gravel the mirror helps me see how much my girlfriend is behind for everyday I rather choose such terrains for riding

Alright ordered Race king 2.2 for front and 2.0 for rear with FD. Let's see.

I also got my Lexon unox bar in, seems nice. Just wish I could fully route the cables internal, but it is what it is. My bars came with purple stem bolts, gotta replace those.

Also you gus said something about plastic and metal compression, which one is the plastic one?
