I use the BBinfinite BB with 6.5 mm spacer on the DS. The chainline should be standard so 47.5 mm.

So the saga continues. My frame was initially shipped in April, arrived in my country in May but due to a fuck up by the norwegian postal service it was shipped to the other side of the country, and when they finally realised what they had done they managed to return it to Seraph instead of sending it to me. Super annoying and it resulted in me having to pay twice for shipping as they (postal service) said only the sender could request a refund. Shit, ok I'll pay again as Jessi said this would be a big hassle and I just wanted the frame asap.

Cue to today, I finally got the notification that the package had arrived and was ready for pick up. Drive straight to the post office and my heart sank when I saw the package. A huge hit on a corner. I hoped for the best but when I inspected the frame there is severe damage in the head set, and the frame is likely just garbage now. Sent Jessi an e-mail right away and am hoping for a quick reply as it's been four months since ordering and I really don't want to wait until the season is over before getting a new one.

What do you think? Bearings won't even go in and regardless I wouldn't dare to ride it with this crack. I feel it inside the head set too, so it's probably worse than it looks too..

That's unfortunate! That frame is toast. You could probably get it repaired but not worth the hassle. I would ask them to send out a new one.

I do not have Tideace, but my 3T is limited to 44t nw sram chainring on wide spindle. You should not alter chainset with spacers, but get ring with proper offset to fit and keep manufacturers recommended setup for spacers. Stock sram rings have 6.5mm offset.

There are 2 options, either 8bolt spider with 0 offset nw chainring on outer side which will give you extra 3mm for big ring, or i found Keos aero chanirings on Ali, which have 3mm offset. With Keos spider I can run single 46ring on standard spindle with room left, I believe 48t would also fit on mine.  Currently use double 48/35 passquest rings on that spider and bought 46ring just because it was a bit more than just a spider.

For just north of $2k I feel like I did pretty well considering this is the era of tariffs.

Some build notes: The tantan headset bearings feel really gritty. I would recommend replacing them. I had to overtorque the Lexon Thinline bars to prevent them from slipping from the fork. I had to add a 3mm on the drive side of the pr3 crankset to prevent the wuzei chainring from fouling the chainstay. There is about a 2mm gap between the chainring and the chainstay. This wuzei chainring is good but makes a slight clicking sound when pedaling on the bigger cogs. I replaced all the included steel frame bolts with cheap titanium ones. The ICAN freehub is so loud. I’m gonna buy some thicker grease to silence the incredible whine because the medium grease I used didn’t cut it.

I just finished a big ride with lots of climbing and fast descents. This bike rips, but the cornering is slightly sedate compared to my old 2005 all-road bike. That’s an acceptable concession for big tyre clearance. The fit is impeccable – I had the measurements dialed before ordering everything and the fit is exactly the same as my old bike. I am 188cm and feel very comfortable with the size. This frame rocks! I love putting all my tools and stuff in the down tube. I didn’t have to face anything. The paint seems really easy to mar though. I can’t wait to get some gravel tires and rip some fire roads.

Nice. I'm 183cm tall as well, and ordered a size 54 with 110 stem handlebars. This makes me feel good about sizing LoL

that's interesting,  I'm 177 and bring recommended the 54 also. my gut feel is the 52 though,  reinforced if you're OK on the 54 at 6cm taller than me

anyone else care to reveal their height, their frame size and whether or not they would change if ordering again?

Hi,

Cut my steerer tube yesterday and did a mock assembly. Is it normal to have this much gaps? I tried by switching positions between the bearings, but did not help. Used everything that came with the stock headset from Tantan.

Headset bearings should be 7 mm height. The lower gap will close a little bit with headset compression. I assume that you are using the handlebar that comes with the frame. It’s trash …

I planned to use it. Got an alu handlebar from another bike, I might use that one instead.

Why is it trash? Has anyone broken it? I felt that the plastic spacers felt really cheap….

Cheap spacer and C ring out of tolerance so it moves on the fork front to back. Next best option is the Lexon Unox that works very well on this frameset.

can anyone tell me the width and height of the downtube? I want to order frame protection tape for under, and have some decals made for the sides, and have them ordered so they can go on when the frame arrives
